Zodiac Enchantress

~Narrator’s POV~ A pale child, wearing her sky blue and white leotard and tutu, began prancing and dancing around a large yet empty ballroom. She knew she wouldn’t be allowed in there normally, but both of her parents weren’t home. They hadn’t been for a week, away on business. She would giggle at the thought of her parents being away. It means she wouldn’t have to listen to the guards or maids and she’d be free to explore the castle without worry of being punished by her parents. Though if she did ever get in trouble, she’d usually have her mother get her out of it. Her mother was always much more forgiving than her father was. It had always been that way. Her mother was from a line of changelings, a species that had fed on love and always will. Her father, on the other hand, is the son of a rather powerful and corrupt demon, who’s always getting him in trouble. Everyone had wondered if that’s the real reason behind the queen’s loving nature. If she chooses to be kind and loving, just so she can feed on her family and citizens. Her daughter seemed oblivious to all of this however, and the country seemed to be pretty decent and at peace, everything running smoothly. It wasn’t always like this however...
