Savanna was completely heartbroken. When she returned to campus after the break up, she went a little wild. She started drinking, having hook ups with different guys, clubbing, and even some cannabis usage. Savanna was trying her best to mask the heartbreak with what or who ever was available. This lead to Savanna's grades dropping, her self-worth decreasing, and injuries.

Savanna had gotten drunk and was walking back to the dorms when she tripped and shattered her wrist. She brushed it off as nothing that night. When she woke up after lunch time the next day and the alcohol was not masking her pain or judgment she realized she needed to go to the doctor. Savanna got to the clinic and x-rays showed her the truth, she was going to have to have surgery to repair her wrist.

Savanna had completely shattered her whole wrist. The surgery required the doctors to place pins in her wrist to replace the bones. After surgery and healing, Savanna decided with the help of her best friend, Charlotte, that life was to precious to waste.

Savanna and Charlotte had been best friend since 8th grade, helped each other through loss of family, friends, and loves. So to say Charlotte knew Savanna better than others is an understatement.

Charlotte convinced Savanna to let her wrist heal, heal her heart, and go back to school.
