Is it Fate? Part 2

Placing their orders at the restaurant, Mitchell got ahold of Savanna's hands and made small talk. When the soup arrived they continued to talk between eating their meal. Before dessert came, Savanna decided it was time to give Mitchell his gift.

She had folded the shirts to where the print was inside and had to be unfolded. Savanna also had a box with the test and an ultrasound photo inside of the larger box. When she handed Mitchell the box her heart rate increase, she was nervous and a bit nauseous. As he opened the box she held her breath. When Mitchell looked at her like she was crazy for giving him a blank shirt, Savanna told him to turn it over. As he turned the shirt over, Savanna held her breath again, when his eyes lit up she was scared. As Mitchell read the shirt he grabbed her hand, he asked if she was serious, Savanna told him to open the smaller box. Mitchell quickly opened it and shouted when he seen the ultrasound!

Just then the waiter arrived with dessert. As he placed it down Savanna's chocolate cake, she was looking at the cake. Savanna looked back at Mitchell, he was not in his seat, he was beside her on one knee with a ring. Mitchell was smiling, but shaking. Mitchell said "Savanna I have love you for so long, you complete my life. I am so much happier when I'm with you, and now I want this even more that you are carrying our child. So Savanna Nicole Roberts will you marry me?"

Almost screaming Savanna said Yes probably a million times (or so it felt in her head). As Mitchell placed the beautiful ring on her finger, Savanna was smiling so much it hurt her cheeks. Holding each other's hand they ate their dessert, after Mitchell settled the check, they headed back to their room.

After a weekend full of making love, kissing, bubble baths, and staying in bed together; they headed home to tell the news of the weekend. Mitchell had asked for Savanna's parents blessing so Lawson and Catherine were expecting a happy daughter to return. Savanna had kept the news of the baby to herself, so when Mitchell and Savanna arrived at the Roberts's house and told them the news if the baby feelings were mixed between the parents.

Lawson was unsure how to feel, he had always wanted his children to wait until marriage before having babies, Catherine was excited but also a little heartbroken because of the timing. But both parents hugged and congratulated Mitchell and Savanna.

When the couple went for the 4 month appointment they were excited to see if they could find out the gender if the baby. Sitting in the room, the technician started the ultrasound on Savanna with Mitchell holding her hand beside her. After a few moments of ultrasound, the technician says the doctor will be in momentarily. When the doctor arrives, she repeats the ultrasound sound. As she turns to the couple she looks unhappy, she says "Savanna I'm so sorry but there is no heartbeat, the baby has passed away. We will have to go to the hospital so that you can deliver the baby"
