By the time you make it back to your dorm, it’s five o’ clock in the morning, Anna isn’t in the dorm so you hurriedly get your things and go to the front desk of the dorms.
The lady at the desk is old, her grey hair flowing freely around her face and she seems absorbed in typing something on her computer.
“Hello Ms. Smith, how may I help you today?” You tell her that you want to move out of the dorms and that you’ll be staying off campus with your mom and step father.
The lady has you sign some papers and you call your mom to come get you. When you get in the car, you can’t help but bust into tears as you tell your mom everything that happened the night before, the drive from your school to her house takes about forty-five minutes.
The house isn’t much, it’s kinda small and white on the outside, it was built fifty years ago, so it’s not much to look at, at first glance, it looks abandoned, but it’s home.
The inside is small but modern and homey, the kitchen is a pretty olive green and marble white and the living room is a dark brown and tan. It’s a two bedroom and there’s a basement, but no one goes down there.
When you pull into the driveway, your step-father Liam is waiting for you both on the porch. He helps you get your things into the house and you go to sleep.
You suddenly woken up by a loud buzzing sound, you look over and see your phone going off, when you look at it, it’s Annalise texting you about how sorry she is and she didn’t mean to and she was gonna tell you she just didn’t know when.
You ignore her and then Ellis texts you, you think about ignoring him but he calls.
“What do you want Ellis?” You snap, still hurt from what you seen.
Cali I’m sorry, she meant nothing to me and I only love you” you can feel the tears start to swell in the back of your throat again, but you remain strong.
“Ellis, I don’t want to hear it, you ruined our relationship and my friendship, I will never forgive you” you quickly hang up up the phone and block them both before getting up for something to eat.
