Jules stirred in bed,slowly,she opened her eyes and closed them immediately. Gosh the sun is blinding.Wait a minute. She thought to herself. The blinds are not supposed to be open,I'm just waking up surely I didn't sleep walk. She opened her eyes and surveyed the room slowly.One,two,three she counted.Three aliens had invaded her room and were going through her things.She closed her eyes,put her hand over her ears and let out a piercing scream.
"Jules what's wrong?".called alien one.
Oh no..Jules thought,how do they know my name??.
Jules slowly opened her eyes again.She looks human,and she's wearing Katies' robe.Jules thought again and then it hit her.They were not aliens, her friends and they went shopping together yesterday and that's hy they slept over.
"Geez!!!!".Jules exclaimed jumping up."why didn't you guys wake me up???"
"We only just woke too".Katie answered sitting oon the bed..
"You guys look like aliens".Jules said.
"Its the masque" Katie replied.
Knock Knock Knock
"I heard screaming,are you guys okay??"Gus asked.
"We are fine,it was just Jules".Tina replied.
"Jules!!,she okay??"He asked.
"Yeah".Tina answered.
"Can't you guys just open the damn door??".Gus asked again..
"No".Terry answered."We are not decently dressed and we look like aliens".Terry added giving Jules a pointed look.
"It was an honest mistke".Jules whispered.
"Oh...okay,see you guys later".
"What time is grads?"Jules asked walking into the bathroom.
"One o'clock".Katie answered,she was the most organized of the lot.
"Good,we have five hours to get ready".
"Its not enough".Terry said looking scared.
"I know you want to look good for Brian but you will have to make do".Tina replied walking into the bathroom.
The graduation ceremony was held on the school field. This iss a day I'm never going to forget. Jules thought to herself as she hurried to where other graduating students were. Sitting.They were required to be there ten minutes before the ceremony started but they were already five minutes late.
Jules couldn't wait to take off her graduation gown.She had worn a jumpsuit and it was really nice.Her friends had tried to talk her out of it but she didn't listen,she was going to be unique as every other girl wore a dress..Her jumpsuit was way above her knee,black and very cute.She wore electric blue strappy heels,they were the exact color of her graduation gown.She didn't pack her hair in her usual ponytail,Tina's mum helped her do it into something nice.She knew she was going to turn heads,almost everybody was going out for drinks tonight and she was looking forward to it.
The sound of the mic interrupted her train of thoughts,the ceremony had started.She wasn't even listening to Mrs Coleman as she called out the names of the graduating students to come forward and handed out whatever it is she was handing out.
"Jules".Katie called and elbowed her."She has called your name".
"Oh...right".Jules said walking forward.
The graduation ceremony was a blast and Jules had a lot of fun when everyone went out for drinks last night,everybody admired her outfit,they had taken loads of pictures and her friends stayed ouer again.They had talked into the wee hours of the morning.She looked around her,they were still asleep. Feels good to be done and out of highschool. She thought to herself as she walked out of the room and into Gus.
"Hey"Gus said as he caught her and helped her regain her balance."Daniel and I made breakfast and I wanted to see if you guys want some".
"errr.....I'm the only one awake now".
"Okay.....let's go".
Jules parent left on Sunday and since then,she had been really busy,they had tons of council meetings in preparation for black and white night and prom.
This week has been really hectic,I hope it pays officials. Jules thought to herself as she put her earrings on and surveyed herself inthe mirror.
She was going out or as he put it 'hanging out' wiith Gus this evening. Gus is not bad but............
"Hey there".Gus called as he walked into the room,interrupting her train of thoughts."Hw is your preparation for the big date going?"
"You didn't knock!!!! I could have been in my robe...'sides its not a date,we are just hanging out."Jules said
"Yeah..........".Gus said dryly."I've seen you in your robe and less before,remember that day when....."
"Stop!!"Jules screeched putting her hands over her ears."Thinking about it is embarrassing enough,I don't have to hear you say it".
"Okay..........but its all the same.Prom is in two days are you guys done with eth planning?".Gus asked.
"Everything is fine,why do you want too know anyway?You aare not coming".
"I am".
"Ohh..."Jules said trying to sound nonchalant."Lori asked you??".
"Nope,I'm going on my own.Your little speech really touched me."Gus said with a wink.
"Okay,I need to run now".Jules said walking out of the room.
"Goodluck with your date".
"We are hanging out".Jules said,running down the stairs.
"Same thing".Augustus called shaking his head and grinning at her retreating back.
