Chapter 15

They did not know what will happen to the team that they defeated. They were worried for them despite not knowing them personally.

They were just following the masked men. They were afraid of what would happen to them. Madison nudged Daniel and then pointed at Dontrell. Dontrell was walking behind the masked men. He was with Liam. But just like before, Liam was very quiet. He did not utter a word after the chess game. Fear could not be seen on his eyes earlier as he casually swung his pike during the game. Right now, Liam was dragging his pike. It was taller than him.

“He was so good, right?” Madison asked as she played with her dagger. She rotated it with her fingers.

Daniel looked at her as they continued walking to their unknown destination. “How are you so good with that?” he curiously asked.

Madison looked at him with an amusement flashed on her eyes. “I did not know you will be curious,” she said with a light laugh.

Dontrell and Liam looked at them. Madison shook her hands. “Focus on the way.”

Daniel just shook his head. He did not know why could she still laughed at this time.

Madison stopped laughing when the masked man looked at her. She stepped back but she made sure to hold her dagger tightly, just in case.

They halted when the masked men halted. They saw that one of them raised one of their hand. He was holding a remote with only a red button on it. As soon as he pressed it, the dead end wall that they thought was lifted and the light coming from the other side of the wall slowly illuminated the area.

As it was already up, they did not know what to react. They looked like they were already outside. There was also a white sand area just like how they first got in to the island. They looked around. They looked like they were inside a subdivision. All of the one storey houses were identical. They looked up. The sky was also blue and bright. Madison and Dontrell’s faces were visible on to their eyes. After many years of living on a poor district, this was the first time that they got to step on a very lavish area.

All of the houses were painted in white and it was formed in circle. Every houses were facing them. They were also plastic trees and grasses on each of their lawn. They were also a man made pond at the center with a diameter of thirty meters and in order to cross from one side to the other side was to walk in circle or to cross the cross shape bridge.

They heard a footsteps coming towards them. It was coming from the path that they passed through. They all turned around and a man in a masked face greeted them. It was the leader.

“As a reward for winning the first game, you will have each that houses. They were sixteen houses for sixteen people. I hope that you all liked it,” the leader said.
