Chapter 13
“Bishop C5 to B4,” the Black King commanded. Dontrell’s guess was right. He could not attack the weakest point of the white team’s board because Dontrell could still protect it because the Bishop would not have a back up if it would eliminate the pawn in F2. So right now, he attacked the Pawn on B4 because there were not any back up on the pawn.
The bishop-knight from the C5 pushed the pawn away from the board. It did not used it sword, for now.
Everyone heard that some parts of the metal bar doors opened. Two of the masked man appeared, they brought the eliminated pawn behind the black team’s board.
Dontrell commanded the pawn in front of Daniel to move one stepped forward. It was the way to make the Bishop-knight from the Black team to retreat.
“Bishop B4 to A5,” the Black king said with irritation.
The game continued until it was already Madison’s turn to move. There was already a pawn one square away from her.
“Queen D1 to B3,” Dontrell commanded. He moved Madison there so she would become a backup for the Bishop-knight on C4. They were targeting the black pawn on F7.
The queen from the other , D7, moved diagonally to be in front of the pawn on F7. Their queen was already on F6.
The game continued. Dontrell’s team were now in the advantage. It was now Daniel’s turn. Dontrell commanded him to move from C1 to A3. There was already a knight on E7. He would become Daniel’s target.
The Black King commanded pawn from the B7 to B5. Since Madison was on B3, she stepped forward and pushed away the pawn.
But as a counter on that attacked, the Black King commanded its rook to be inline with Madison. Madison retreated and she was now in front of Daniel.
As the game was almost finished, Madison moved diagonally and captured the pawn on D7, which was a check but she did not have any back up so the king from the Black team stepped up and captured her. He pushed her hard the reason for Madison to fall on the ground. She was gritting her teeth as she was dragged put from the board. The black king returned to his original position as Dontrell commanded once of the knight bishop to check to king from the other group by moving from D3 to F5. The bishop-knight then moved to F5 to D7 to corner the king. The black king moved from E8 to F8.
Dontrell looked at Daniel. “Bishop A3 to E7.”
Daniel moved to E7 and captured the knight. He pushed him with his shield. Daniel was now cornering the king. He had Liam as his back-up. If the King tried to capture Daniel then, Liam was on F6 to back him up.
It was already a checkmate.
The king from the black team collapsed. Everyone from the black team followed. They saw that there were two needles at the back of their neck. Everyone gasped and stepped back. Some were covering their mouth due to shock. There were also people who were statued from where they were standing.
