1712 Words
ALLAN’S POV I woke up feeling like I was floating on air, my heart still racing from the events of the previous night. I couldn't believe what had happened - Allan, the Lycan King, had claimed me as his mate. Me, a rejected wolf from all my life. As I opened my eyes, I saw Allan lying beside me, his eyes closed, his chest rising and falling with each breath. I felt a surge of love and gratitude towards him, and I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life making him happy. I gently touched his face, and he opened his eyes, smiling at me. "Good morning, my love," he said, his voice husky with sleep. "Good morning," I replied, my voice barely above a whisper. Allan sat up and pulled me into his arms, holding me close as we kissed. I felt like I was melting into his embrace, like I was becoming one with him. As we kissed, I felt a sense of peace wash over me. I knew that I had found my home, my safe haven, and my soulmate. I knew that I would never be alone again, that Allan would always be there to protect me, to love me, and to cherish me. After a while, we broke apart, and Allan looked at me with a serious expression. "Maya, I want to talk to you about something," he said, his voice low and husky. "What is it?" I asked, my heart beating fast with anticipation. "I want to claim you as my mate," Allan said, his eyes burning with intensity. "I want to mark you, to make you mine, and to show the world that you belong to me." I felt a surge of excitement and nervousness. I had heard of mating marks, but I had never thought that I would be the one to receive one. "I want that too," I said. Allan's face lit up with joy, and he pulled me into his arms, holding me close. The air between us seemed to vibrate with tension. Allan's hand moved to my cheek, his thumb stroking my skin as he leaned in closer. My heart raced in anticipation, and I could feel my own lips parting slightly, inviting him to kiss me. Allan's mouth met mine in a gentle, yet passionate kiss. I felt myself melting into his embrace, our lips moving in perfect sync. The world around us melted away, leaving only the two of us, lost in the magic of our very first kiss. I felt like I was on fire, like my heart was burning with love and desire. The morning sunlight filtered through the windows, casting a warm glow over the room. We were entwined in each other's arms, basking in the warmth and comfort of the kiss. Allan's hand began to trace gentle circles on my back, his touch sending shivers down my spine. The air between us seemed to vibrate with tension. Allan's hand moved to my cheek, his thumb stroking my skin as he leaned in closer. My heart raced in anticipation, my body ached for the unknown and it was a very huge disappointment for me when he finally pulled away. “Wow” I breathed, gasping for air. Allan smiled, his eyes shining with love. "Wow indeed," he replied, his voice low and husky. We lay there for a moment, holding each other, basking in the glow of our newfound love. The kiss had sealed our connection, and we now both knew that our relationship had reached a new level. After a while, Allan got out of bed, pulling me with him. "Let's start the day," he said, his eyes twinkling with excitement. "We have a lot to explore, and I want to spend every moment with you." I smiled, feeling like I was walking on air. "I'd like that," I said, my voice filled with joy. As we got dressed and headed downstairs, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this new chapter in my life. I had found my soulmate in Allan, and I knew that our love would only continue to grow stronger with each passing day. The table had already been set by the royal staff and just in time, I could be seen gracefully walking down the stairs arm in arm with Allan, looking lovely in a yellow sundress, my hair tied up in a ponytail. I indeed looked a lot more relaxed and comfortable than yesterday and for that, I was more than glad. “How was your night? I hope my wife slept well?” He finally asked as we sat on the table. I nodded, smiling. “I slept better than I had in years.” I admitted, truthfully and Indeed I obviously meant every word. For a young woman who was exposed to slavery and s****l exploitation from such a young age, I still couldn’t believe that I had been so strong and resilient to not have my spirit broken after all these years. Thinking about those horrible years now, I couldn’t help but feel proud of myself for never giving up. “Eat to your fill darling, I wouldn’t want you or our baby starving.” He said. I flashed a smile at him, blushing. Now, as we sat down to eat, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this moment. It was almost too good to be true. Almost as if I did not deserve any of it. The soft music playing in the background filled my ears pleasantly, the sun light casting a bright glow through the windows and the delicious food on our plates all combined to create the perfect and intimate atmosphere. I took a bite of my food, and my eyes instantly lit up with pleasure. "This is so good, Allan," I said, smiling at him. He also smiled back, feeling happy to see me enjoying my meal. "I'm glad you like it," He said, taking a bite of my own food. As we ate, we talked about our day, sharing stories and laughter. The tension and uncertainty of the previous day seemed to have dissipated, and we were now basking in the warmth of our newfound love. As we finished our meal, he reached out and took my hand, which was much to my surprise as I felt a sense of contentment wash over me. This was what I had been missing in my life - a sense of connection, of belonging, of love. "Thank you for the breakfast, Allan," I said, my voice soft and gentle. "It was lovely." I added. "I'm glad you enjoyed it," He replied, squeezing her hand. "I'm just happy to have you here with me." I couldn’t help but smile, my eyes sparkling with love. "I'm happy to be here too," I said. "I feel like I've finally found my home." Allan smiled back, feeling my heart swell with emotion. "You have found your home, Maya," He assured me. "You're here with me, and I'll always be here for you." We had spent the morning lounging around the house, enjoying each other's company. We had talked about our plans for the day, and I had told her about my meeting with the pack leaders later that afternoon. I had listened intently, offering him my own little form of support and encouragement. "Maya, can I ask you something?" He said, his voice low and gentle. "Of course," I replied, my voice sounding so gentle and soft, although I couldn’t help but wonder what he’s question could be about. "What do you want out of life?" He asked, his fierce eyes searching mine. I was taken aback, but after a while a softness crept into my expression. "I'm not sure," I admitted. "I've never really thought about it." He nodded, understanding. "I think it's something we all struggle with at times. But I want you to know, Maya, that I'm here for you. I want to support you, to help you find what you're looking for." “Honestly, I would say I just want a home and genuine love. I just want a life Allan. I’ve always and desperately craved my own life. One where I wasn’t in submission to any kind of authority. One where I was free and truly happy.” He took his hand in mine, squeezing tightly. No doubt, He was touched by my vision. “You’re mine now Maya and with me you’ll have everything you’ve dreamt of and more.” His eyes locked onto mine, and I saw a glimmer of sincerity there. "Thank you, Allan,"I said, my voice filled with emotion. He squeezed my hand once again, feeling a jolt of electricity as our skin touched. "I mean it, Maya. I want to be here for you, to help you through the tough times and to celebrate with you in the good times." I could only nod, fighting back the tears of joy that stung my eyes. As we sat there, holding hands, I felt a sense of connection with Allan that I had never felt with anyone before. It was as if our souls were touching, our hearts beating as one. I knew in that moment that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this Man, to cherish him, to love him, and to serve him . And I knew that I would do whatever it took to make that happen. As the morning had worn on, we had decided to take a walk in the nearby park. The fresh air and sunshine had done us good, and we had strolled hand in hand, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Allan showed me around the kingdom a bit. As I stood beside him, I felt a sense of calm wash over me. I had never felt this way about anyone before, but there was something about Allan that drew me in. His strength, his courage, his personality- it all captivated me. It was more than obvious that this man right here was definitely my mate, my husband and nothing in the world could possibly steer me otherwise. I had finally found peace and I could only hope that it stays forever or will it?
