Attarah awoke disoriented, she didn't know where she was and she stumbled through the castle, unaware of the time or the place she was at, eventually she bumped into a person and the force knocked her to the ground, she merely lay there, unable to move, she hadn't eaten in days and her body was wrestling fatigue. "Mistress Attarah" she looked up to see Felix standing worriedly above her when she didn't move, he began to worry that he'd killed her but she heard her heartbeat so he lifted her limp body and ran as fast as his limbs would carry him into the throne room. The kings jumped up the moment they saw her limp body, Marcus took her in his arms and cradled her as he sat back on his throne, the other two crowding near. "Whats wrong with her? She's been acting odd, disappearing and crying and now this? Isabella and the Cullen boy said that she was a happy person, this is the exact opposite" Caius informed, more like ranted. "Let's wait for her to wake up and ask her ourselves" Aro spoke and Jane emerged the girl seemed sad and the masters wondered why.  "What's wrong Jane?" "I know what's wrong with her" "What is it?" "She's lonely, the three of you leave and she has nothing to do except wallow in her thoughts, her brain can't cope with being alone in a new place, she subconsciously tried finding places that reminded her of home but when she finally did, it broke her further, she blanks out for hours and remembers nothing, she feels all alone" nobody in the room knew what to say to Jane's verdict and none questioned it, Jane was close to the girl, she'd watched the girl read for hours. "What do we do?" Caius queried. "Show her that she's important, she's been here for five days and hasn't even been introduced to the guard, you said you wouldn't lock her away but instead you've locked her out" Heidi chipped in and everyone plunged into silence, with the threat if the Romanians lurking, everyone had been on high alert, working endlessly and none took time to acknowledge the new family member. "Why is she like this?" Marcus asked, glancing down at his sleeping angel. "She hasn't eaten or slept in days" Heidi replied, she knew of the eating situation as she'd spoken to the kitchen staff. "How often do humans eat?" Aro asked, times had changed since he was human, it was over a thousand years ago, he couldn't even remember his old eye colour or his mother's name, memories of human years faded with time. "Three meals a day" "She's only had half a meal since she arrived" "Should we call a doctor?" Alec suggested as he nibbled on his lower lip. "Yes" ----- The kings occupied Aro's quarters, their mate slept soundly upon the bed, the doctor had been and gone and they were now left alone with their thoughts. Though, that was all cut off when they heard a gasp. All the kings looked over to see their mate sat on the bed, gasping and crying, Caius was the first to reach her and pull her into his arms as she gasped. "It's okay, it's all okay. I've got you" he whispered to her and her face crinkled in pain as she sobbed, Aro opened his arms and she stumbled into them, shivering like crazy, Marcus grabbed a blanket for her and they all sat on the bed with her bundled up between them. "I'm sorry" she sobbed into Marcus's shoulder. The oldest brother just held her tighter. "Never be sorry, you are okay, everything is fine" "I left the castle" "We know." "Are you mad at me?" She queried Caius but the blond instantly denied, his hand cupping her satin-smooth cheek and caressing it gently. "I could never be mad at you, you were lucky this time Darling, the doctors say you will be fine but you need to be careful, you haven't eaten or slept properly in days, you can't allow yourself to get like this," Caius explained the situation and she nodded. "I miss you" she spoke softly and they all sighed, exchanging looks. "Attarah" Aro lifted her up and sat her on his lap so her legs were on either side of his and their faces close. "We are trying to make time to see you but there are large situations going on right now, we are doing the best we can" she nodded, she didn't want to make them angry so she just higher Aro to her, thinking about everything. "We don't even know each other* she whispers and the others frown. " that doesn't change how we feel about you, over time we will find out everything there's to know and when that time comes, we'll get ever closer." Marcus smiled to her and she grinned in return, her nose crinkling adorably. "Let's start with our names?" "Attarah Elizabeth Annabella Swan" she infirmed and they all smiled, it was as beautiful as her. "Where did the name Attarah come from?" "My grandmother found it when she was looking over our family tree, as did she find my other two names and Bella's." "They are beautiful" "Thank you" "Where does your eye colour come from?" Caius queried, he'd seen her father st the wedding and his eyes were dark brown. "My mother" "I didn't see her at the wedding." "She isn't my biggest fan" "Why ever not?" "She blames me for ruining her relationship with Charlie, says they were happy when Bella was born but I ruined it" "That's hardly fair." "It's true" "Don't tell lies about yourself, sweetheart, you are exceptionally perfect in every way imaginable" Aro informed with love glinting in his iris's. "Now who lies?" "You do not believe us?" Caius asked. "I trust you, I just cannot possibly believe the words you speak." "Why not?" "Because i know I am none of the things you claim I am" "We shall make you believe" Marcus chipped in and she smiled... Attarah walked to her wardrobe, it was a fresh day and she was going to do everything she needed to do, whether the kings were present or not, the human showered hastily and exited, wrapped in a towel, Jane was already in her room, kitted with hair supplied and makeup, more than anyone could ever wear at one time. "Let's do this then, afterwards the kings require your presence for breakfast" Attarah nodded and sat at the vanity, allowing Jane to do her hair, straightening it into a perfect mahogany sheet before pinning the top up and placing crystals in it. Jane then proceeded to exit the room, heading to go and retrieve Attarahs dress for the day. Whilst she was gone, the human looked at herself in the mirror, finally realizing how much she'd changed in the past week, some would find it overwhelming but she basked in it, a smile illuminating her features. "Here you go" the brunette took the dress from the torturous blonde, Jane expected her to be slightly startled by her sudden appearance though the human seemed unfazed, or she was highly attuned to the unexpected arrival of the stronger species. "Thanks, Jane" the girl took the dress and examined it. The dress was longer than floor-length, the top was designed with white petals and had a low neckline, showing off her cleavage, the bottom was a light icy purple and she adored the colour, she dresses exceptionally quickly and Jane enthused about how perfect she looked in the dress. The human female smiled in thanks, tweaking her hair slightly to make it his she wanted it to be, her dress flowed behind her and she knew for a fact that it would be a nuisance but she loved it too much to change it. "What am I doing today?" "The kings are spending the day with you, after the snowstorm yesterday, it isn't safe for you outside but they will still stay with you, the guard will be training so you'll be alone" "No interruptions?" Jane smirked at her question. "No interruptions" the blonde assured and Attarah beamed brightly, unable to contain her excitement. "And that is a further reason why you should look impeccable" Jane grinned and fixed her makeup, applying more to the blemishes and coating her eyes beautifully like a piece of art. "How do I look?" "Perfect, now for the cloak" Jane grabbed the cloak from the hook, it was gorgeous, fell perfectly to the floor in white silk and it clasped with a crystal, a Volturi crest encrusted on the clasp. When the hood was up it hid her face but her dress and body were on full show. "Shoes!" Jane finally acknowledged and ran into the closet, re-emerging moments later with a box under her gith arm, she handed the box to the human and the brunette sat on the edge of the bed, opening the box and removing its contents. Inside she found the most gorgeous heeled shoes she'd ever seen in her short life. They were a curious grey purple, velvet and extravagant. The heels were wrapped in intricate golden ivy designs, white gemstones illuminating the design. "They are gorgeous" Attarah thanked the petite blonde and hugged her enthusiastically before sliding the shoes on and standing, the dress and cloak combined made her feel confident for once. "Let's take you to your mates" ----- Attarah Elizabeth Annabella Swan descended the stone stairwell of the castle, a smile adorning her features and illuminating the dimly lit tunnel beyond, Jane Volturi followed in her wake, her body alert and her hands adjusting the dress worn by the future queen every so often. "They are in the throne room" Jane informed and the two walked toward the large oak doors, Demetri and Felix greeted them at the doors along with Heidi, Chelsea and Alec. Together, all seven of them entered the throne room in a circular formation. "Welcome everyone" Aro greeted and as Attarah glanced around, she noticed that every member of the alleged Volturi family was sat in rows of golden chairs in the chamber. "Darling" Aro grinned at her and held both his hands forward, palms facing the ceiling, Attarah waltzed forward, flanked by the highest guards. When she met with her royal mate, her hands slid into his and he guided her up the stone steps to the pedestal where he continued on to gently push her onto his plush throne. "This beautiful female is called Attarah, she is the mate of my brothers and myself, she is your future queen and you shall treat her as such" Attarah was beyond shocked at his words but her face remained void. "You may all be dismissed, head back to your stations" Caius ordered and all but the highest guard exited the room. "You look a picture sweetheart, as usual," Aro smiled at her and she returned it, walking over to him and wrapping her arms around him gently, he relaxed in her arms and hugged her back, his face burying into her hair. "Are you hungry my love?" "Slightly" she mumbled and her stomach growled, making him chuckle, the other kings walked forward and each took one of her hands, guiding her down the steps and out of the room, toward the kitchen. "How did you sleep, my love?" Marcus queried and she looked up at him with a smile. "Very well thank you" "What would you like for breakfast mistress Attarah?" "Anything will be wonderful thank you" she smiled, it had gotten to the point where they could see what Bella meant by her cheerful nature, she radiated happiness, even if she wasn't feeling it at the particular time. "How is it that you are so happy?" Caius asked a few minutes later when they were all sat around the kitchen table, the blond king read a newspaper with a pondering expression whilst Aro signed documents and Marcus hummed randomly. "What is there to be sad about? I am with the three of you" she smiled, dimples indenting her flawless cheeks, enhancing her pristine features. "We are sorry for not spending much time with you recently but we shall make it up to you, I promise" Marcus informed as he reached over and held her hand. "How is this going to work?" "How is what going to work?" Aro queried as he glanced up at her. "This" she gestured between them "loving three people at the same time?!" She put her head in her hands, her fingers rubbing her eyes furiously. "Don't fret love, we've got it all worked out" Caius reassured and she looked up, staring directly at him. "Worked out how?" "We know what we need to do to keep you safe, your safety and happiness is what matters most to us, if sharing is what's required to protect you then that is what we shall do" "Really? You realize that everything is going to be three times harder now right?" "We're prepared sweetheart" she then began to eat her food slowly, seeming even to be elegant whilst doing so. "I'm basically cheating on all of you" she mumbled, her head falling into her hand, not speaking to them as such. "Look at me princess" Caius whispered as she glanced up to see him in front of her, he gripped her legs and swung her around to face him, a lump was clearly forming within her throat as she gazed into his cherry red eys. "We know this is hard for you and we are going to try our hardest to make it easier but you need to relax love, you don't need to worry about anything" "How do I even be your mate?! You're vampire kings! I'm a weak human! A teenager! I can't be what you want me to be!" "You already are" Marcus informed. When he saw her confused expression, he elaborated "you already are everything we want and need" "You are men, you need more than I know how to give" she whispered out in embarrassment and her cheeks flushed, the kings exchanged looks before Aro hovered over her, his hand resting on her cheek and soothing the blushed flesh. "You give us everything we need" he informed and she suddenly glared, making all three kings start in surprise as she stood and stormed away. "Where are you going?" Caius called out to Attarah as she continued to leave. "Away from you, I know when I'm being lied to" she replied without turning, storming up the stone steps as Caius turned to glare at Aro. "Wow, nice work Aro, really nice" he hissed and stood to follow his mate to where she had relocated to her bedroom.
