After the ball mr white gave me a room key I put the kids to bed noticing Marcus had not come up yet. I grab my clothes filling my suitcase and moved it to my new room. I decided to text Marcus

Mr white gave me another room so you can have the bed kids are asleep when will you be here .

Then I heard the door open Marcus came in as I was walking out where are you going? he asked I texted you mr white gave me another room so we both can have comfortable sleep tonight. Oh he said grabbing my hand Caitlyn I hope you can see after tonight that your husband had problems plenty of people want you. Hell I think my own girls would leave me in a second for you. He said smiling

I turned and walked away when I got to my room i knew I wasn’t going to get much sleep looking at the time 11.30pm I suspected my Aunty would be awake I searched my phone for her name Isabella and dialled.

A few seconds later Isabella answered Caitlyn is everything ok? What wrong? I knew it wasn’t that I was disturbing her but the fact I don’t call at that time. Nothing wrong like that I told her I just need your advice.

I told her everything that’s been happening and about tonight I don’t even know why I care so much I’ve only known him for 3 weeks. Hmmm maybe because you have spent so much time together telling him personal stuff it feels like longer.

But you know cat you don’t want to be with him if he’s not interested in you. You’ve been there done that. I know all that what I want to know how do I stop feeling like this when I don’t even know what this is. How can I spend the next week here with him.

I don’t know cat you have to be careful do you have any photos I wish I could see him. All of sudden I remembered mrs Jones telling us we could have visitor if there was room. How about a free holiday that’s allows you to see all.

That would be wonderful but Christian has to work. He could come at night it’s only 1hr 1/2 away or on weekend could invite Emma (Emma is her best friend and more of a Aunty to me) I can check with manager to see if we have rooms available.

I heard Isabella discussing it with Christian it didn’t sound like a no but I not wanting any problems I told here I will call her back in a minute. We had only been back for 20min and mrs white and mrs Jones were still at the ball when we got back. I put on my dressing gown and ugg boots and headed to the foyer bumping into mr and mrs white and mrs Jones.

Oh sorry I was coming to check if you have a few rooms free for next week or two I will arrange payment for them. Mr white sighed are things that bad oh no not for me personally I would like to have some family and friends stay.

I’m a bit low at the moment and I think it would be a help to have family around sure mrs Jones said we can give you the whole level below penthouse 5 rooms mr white will give you details in the morning. Thanks I hugged them all and ran back to my room.

I dialled Isabella again have you thought about it. Yes we talked but Christian said we need to wait to see if you can get accommodations first. Done We have a whole floor 5 rooms not exactly sure of beds till morning but enough for you guys and Emma but I’m sure some of connecting rooms have bunks or doubles.

We have penthouse on floor above so we can Cook food in my suite. Now when are you coming I laughed. We’ll come sometime tomorrow unsure if Christian will stay but we will see. Ok thank you good night.

Sunday I woke up at 5 feeling well rested I showered and changed then head to penthouse. I carefully snuck in and started cooking scones, banana bread. Pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns tomatoes and mushrooms. By the time I finished setting the table everyone was up mr and mrs white arrived and mrs Jones was in her way.

As we all sat at breakfast mr white announce I have those keys to the rooms for you Caitlyn handing me a envelope a smiled and thanked him. Your moving out of here I heard Marcus exclaim. Not yet I have family coming. He relaxed but apparently in this moment I felt the need to be a b***h.

Although we should discuss you getting a room for when I’m here. He looked at me saying my family why not yours. My temper flared out of nowhere I didn’t say your family the girls are with me when your working anyway if both of us are here at night you sleep on the lounge anyway a bed would be more comfortable plus I’m the one that cleans and cooks. I spat back anger pouring out of me.

Well you stayed out last night and breakfast looks and taste great today. Sitting back in his chair with a smile. I got up and walked out I was done with him.I drove to the farm all was quiet everyone had the day off after the ball.

I thought about hanging out there but was sure mrs Jones would send Marcus to look for me and I didn’t want to speak to him if someone else was forcing it. So I drove back to Bathurst where I decided to go shopping we would need supplies with the extra mouths to feed.

After 3 hrs and almost $5000 later I packed the car and headed back. The trip back all I keep thinking was I wish that I could go back before Saturday to when I thought we were becoming friends. But then again we weren’t friends I wish I have never come out here then I wouldn’t feel so rejected again.

When I got back I texted Daniel to bring Hugo, Stephanie and jade down to car to collect groceries. Stephanie told me Marcus went out to look for me but had told her to text him if I come back.

Help with the groceries then you can text him. The penthouse had a huge fridge and freezer plus large pantry plus each room had a fridge and pantry I dived the food for each room and the kids dropped it off without a whine.

My phone rang it was Isabella. Hi we are all here before I could say anything ok I’m on my way down.as I reached the door I suddenly looked at everyone trying to think about spacing there was Isabella and Christian there 3 children , Emma and her 2 niece and Jacqueline and her husband Eric and their 2 girls. I showed them to their rooms.

After that they all came up to the penthouse to see it and meet Marcus kids. Emma, Jacqueline Isabella and I were sitting at the table with a glass of wine. When Isabella asked so we’re is he. Out I said they knew not to push it straight away.

A few minutes later Marcus came storming through the door screaming my name. I jumped up to tell him people were her but he seemed unfazed grabbing my hand and and walking to the bedroom.

Marcus I’m not doing this with my family and friends here. Please come meet everyone I pleaded. Do you still want me to leave no I’ll sleep in the other room my clothes are anyway. I walked past him coming I said. I quickly introduced him before he invited the boys to the bar for drinks.

Marcus don’t you have work in a hour? I asked no I canceled work when for some reason my business partner and friend disappeared for hours. He then walked out slamming the door.
