The Confusion

Jane's POV

When I wake up it is almost afternoon. We partied till very late last night and my head is still hurting. I didn't drink anything it is hurting because I couldn't get enough sleep. After my shower I go downstairs to get a coffee.

The moment I woke up I'm feeling a bit different at first I thought it is because of the less sleep but it is something different, something strange. My head is feeling very heavy. After I drink my coffee I start feeling better, actually way better than before. I think of Amelia and decide to meet her, I don't care what my family would say. She is my friend and she needs us now. I feel like something inside me agrees with me. I don't know its weird the fact that I'm feeling something inside me. It feels like something has awaken which was dormant till now.

Shit! Is it my wolf. Did I just got my wolf. Oh Moon Goddess I can't believe it. I control my feelings I shouldn't be too excited as it is not confirmed yet.

I get back to my room and start concentrating on my wolf. I keep focusing on her but nothing. Nothing happens but I don't give up and keep focusing. After a while which actually feels like eternity I feel her. I can actually see her a white wolf with my seagreen eyes. Oh Moon Goddess I'm still in doubt. It still feels so unreal. I finally connect with her and let her take over . After few seconds I can see in my mirror a beautiful white wolf standing in front of it. I look down and I can see my paws I can feel the fur and plus I can smell so many things now like my mother who is in her room I can smell her from here. This is so crazy! Finally! Finally I got it. I think I'm gonna lose my mind it is so unbelievable.

I wear a new pair of pants and shirt to go and tell my Mom about it and I start running towards her. Thank Moon Goddess for the heightened smell I know she is not in her room now but downstairs as I'm going down I also sense my father's scent, so he is also present, better I'll tell them both at the same time.

When I arrive my mother is sitting on the couch with her head in her hands. She looks upset and Dad is just standing there.

"Mom! Are you okay what happened" I ask out of concern.

"Let me tell you what happened" Dad says, "Gabriel found his mate, she is the daughter of Crescent Moon's Alpha" Dad answers.

"So? I mean why is Mom upset about it" I ask stupidly forgetting the part about my almost engagement to him. Mom gives me a glare.

"We will still get an alliance with them but the engagement part is out of question now" Dad says this with almost no concern. He also wanted me to get engaged with him than why is he not concerned now?

"I just want her to be safe and I don't know what to do about it. Every time there is a hope it gets crushed!" Mom exclaims helplessly.

"I know but she will be fine. Jane can take care of herself, don't worry we will be there to protect her and she might also get a mate since the Moon Goddess is so merciful this year and everyone is finding one" Dad says a bit certainly.

Did he found out about Xavier. I don't think so I didn't said anything and I highly doubt Xavier would have said anything to my father.

"Anyway I'm leaving the Gold Moon is coming and I've to welcome them" Dad says and leaves.

"Gold Moon! Seriously! We already have the Blood Moon on our territory and now the Gold Moon. I just wish this Ceremony will be over before any bloodshed" Mom says and also leaves.

I didn't get to tell them about my wolf. I should meet my friends then as I have literally nothing to do now.
