A bad day

I and Henry went to see a movie together during the weekend and he asked me out. I didn’t accept immediately but I told him that I would think about it and it has also been a week since I and Natalie talked. The worst part of it is that she’s avoiding me and I don’t even know what I did to her but I just decided to give her space too. I’m her friend and if I did something to wrong her , she should at least tell me what I did rather than avoiding me but all the same I’m still worried about her.

I’ve been feeling so lonely without my best friend, I know I have other friends but Natalie is the only person that knows me very well and understands me .

I went to work at the ‘pizza place’ and had a delivery at a five star hotel. ‘ who orders pizza at a five star hotel, don’t they offer way better food there?’. I got to the hotel and asked the receptionist for directions to the room number given to me by my boss and she did. I entered the elevator and when I got in, there was already a man inside and I recognized him . He’s the handsome but rude guy I met at the club the last time. “ Hi” I said to the guy and stretched my hand for a hand shake but he didn’t respond and left my hand hanging so I just kept my hand to myself but I felt so embarrassed. “ what floor are you going to?” he asked. “ twenty fourth floor” I replied, then he pressed it on the elevator and the door closed.

We got to the tenth floor and the elevator light went off and I think the elevator stopped moving too. I didn’t know when I held the stranger’s hand tightly ,I was so scared but after some seconds the light came up again but the elevator didn’t continue moving. Then he started staring at me in a strange manner, I couldn’t help myself from noticing how hot and sexy he is ‘ but why is he staring at me?’. Then he lifted his arm a little bit and I saw a hand gripping his suit tightly, ‘is that my hand?’ When I realized what was going on, i immediately removed my hands from his suit and kept them to myself,I felt so embarrassed. ‘So much embarrassment in one day’ I thought to myself. He pressed the emergency button on the elevator and it took them like 2 minutes to fix the elevator. When they were done, i immediately got out of the elevator, I walked away quickly without looking back but I noticed the stranger was following me from behind. ‘ is he a stalker?’ I hastened my steps but he kept following me, I became afraid and walked faster. So I gathered enough courage and tried confronting him but before I could turn to do so, I missed my steps and fell straight on the stranger and tore his suit. I stood up immediately and hit his face with the pizza box. I think People heard the noise and started coming out from their rooms. Even some staffs were standing around, then when I saw that people were already gathering around, I started narrating what had happened and the young lady inside the room that I was supposed to deliver the pizza to came out and asked what was happening and I told her everything but Immediately she saw the stranger she gasped and ran towards him . “ why did you do this to my brother?” She asked looking shocked and worried. “ your brother? . . he was stalking me, I was scared, I had to defend myself?’. I realized I made a mistake and started apologizing as if my life depended on it. But I got kicked out from the hotel and was banned from ever stepping my foot there”.

I was still crying my eyes out in front of the hotel when I got a call from my boss. I heard my boss’s loud voice over the phone“ come back to the store right now” he sounded so angry . ‘Did the stranger’s sister report me to my boss?’ I asked myself. I felt so frustrated, embarrassed and overwhelmed by everything that had happened. I immediately drove to the ‘ pizza place’.

When I got there, I saw my boss standing near the door, I was so scared to enter into the store so I think my boss noticed and came out instead.He looked so angry. “Do you know the consequence of what you did?. . You embarrassed the CEO of the biggest and most powerful company in this country”. When I heard that, my body started trembling and I know I’m done for. “ I didn’t know. . I thought he was stalking me . .it was a big mistake boss”. But the next thing I heard was “ you’re fired!”. I felt I couldn’t breathe well. My legs failed me and I sat on the floor. ‘I worked so hard to get this job, where should I start from? I’m a school dropout and no company would take me ‘. My boss took my badge , my work cap and threw my salary for the month on the floor. I picked it up and took a bus home.
