What’s wrong with Natalie?

~Erica’s pov~

It’s evening already and I have to meet up with Natalie at the club. I brought out the dress I was going to wear to the club. A short red gown, a pair of black heel and a black denim Jacket. I did a like makeup, put on red lipstick and straightened my hair. ‘ it’s a girls night!’i was so excited and did a little dance in front of my mirror then I was all ready and headed straight to the club.

I got to the club which was like 6 blocks away from my apartment. I had to wait for like 30 minutes in line because the queue was long. When it was my turn to enter into the club, I was stopped by the bouncer and was asked to move out of the line and I asked he why and he said I looked underage. I was so pissed, ‘I know I have a small stature but you don’t have to point it out’. “ I’m 24 for God’s sake” I yelled because the club was quiet noisy. “Please show me you ID” the bouncer replied. “ I don’t have an ID because I didn’t know I need it to get into a club, I’m an adult for Christ sake” I yelled back again and this time I was so pissed. The bouncer then asked me to move away from the line and this time he was ready to use force. “She’s with me” I deep male voice said and when I turned to see who said that, I was struck by the most beautiful sight, I know Henry is fine but this man soo fine. He aura screamed power. Although the place was dark i could still see his jaw line, his broad shoulders and his height was to die for. “Sorry sir, you may enter”the bouncer replied gesturing us to enter into the club. I got myself together and entered into the club with the strange man”. “ Thanks for that, my name is Erica.yours?” He just looked at me from head to toe and walked away. I was shocked but what did I expect from someone where an office suit to a club. ‘So rude’ I muttered to myself. I walked out of that area and tried searching for Natalie but I didn’t see her so I texted her and she told me she was at the VIP area. ‘How come ‘ I thought to myself. I walked to the VIP area and saw Natalie dancing seductively on zack. ‘I bet his d*ick Is hard right now’. I sat on the club VIP’s couch and I was poured a drink and we partied all night.

I and Natalie had a blast weekend. We went clubbing and we were also invited to a birthday party by Zack. I got a tipsy and I guy tried making Weird advances at me. When he got uncomfortably close to be, I smacked him hard on the face with my purse and I actually warned him to leave me alone so many times before I took action but all my warnings landed on a rock and he threatened to deal with me then Zack pushed him.

it’s Monday and it’s time to get serious because there are bills waiting to be paid. I got out of bed, prepared for work and went to work as a delivery girl.

Work wasn’t that stressful today except the part where I delivered pizza to an arrogant woman who said I wasted to delivering her pizza and they had become cold. She threatened to report me but after apologizing she took her pizza and closed her door on my face. I was so pissed but I had to comport myself. I couldn’t wait to get to the bar to see my ‘sweet Henry’ and of course for work too.

Immediately I entered the bar I saw Henry and Natalie talking but I couldn’t hear what they were saying and Natalie looked so pissed. Immediately Natalie saw me coming towards them , she walked straight to the dressing room and I swore that I could see tears in her eyes. “What’s wrong with her?” I asked Henry. “ I don’t know” Henry replied and continued cleaning the table of the bar. I rushed into the dressing to check on Natalie. “What’s wrong Natalie ?’ I asked Natalie because Natalie is not the kind of person that would easily get upset with something, I got worried, I can’t stand seeing her unhappy. “I’m fine”she replied wiping her eyes with a tissue. “Oh Natalie” I said and gave her a tight hug.

“Thank you for checking on me. . .We should probably go back to work” she said and walked into the bar. I changed into my work clothes and went to work.

I couldn’t concentrate on my work, I was trying to figure out what would have made Natalie upset and cry. I will try asking Henry again, maybe he knows something but I’m her best friend and she can tell me anything. I kept staring at her direction and got distracted that I didn’t know that i spilled drink on a customers shirt while trying to serve him. I was being scolded by the customer before Henry came to calm and apologize to the customer. After work, Natalie quickly changed to her casual clothes from her uniform and left without talking to me. ‘She is not behaving like the Natalie I know’. I quickly changed to my casual wear and when I came out, I saw Henry trying to clean up and approached him. “ sure you don’t know what’s wrong with Natalie?”. “Nope”he replied. “I’m so worried about her,I think someone upset her and she doesn’t want to tell me. But I’m her friend “. I said and sighed. “ I don’t know about that but what I do know is that I got two tickets to see a movie this weekend,would you like to go see it with me” he said smiling. Although today wasn’t too great but Henry had his way of making me smile. “ yes i would love to go with you”. I said with a big smile on my face and waved him goodbye.
