She awoke again to find herself lying on a strange, narrow, lumpy mattress. Sitting up, her headache somewhat subdued to only a dull roar, she looked around. To her horror, she realized she was in a dimly lit cell. There were no lamps, and the only light was cast from one tiny window with bars across it. A trickle of sunlight was straining into the small room. The tiniest of breezes blew gently into the room. She realized she had been asleep for hours, an entire night. She clutched her stomach as she wondered what effect the draught may have had on her child, but was reassured by her lack of nausea or other ill effects.
