Ren, “you can’t come this way.” the men in uniform said to doctor Ezekiel. “I am a doctor from the New York University Medical Centre.” He said putting his hand on the man’s chest. “let me look at the injured.” “we just rescued the driver and we just started rescuing the passengers inside.” The man informed. “there is a doctor inside he is taking care of the injured from inside.” “he is from our hospital too.” Ezekiel said. - - - - - - - - - - “doctor!!” another man yelled. “come here fast.” He asked. “her heart beat is stopping.” The man said again. Ren ran to him, he was standing next the woman, raising her head to ease the breathing which wasn’t seemed to be of any help. He felt her pulse on her neck, when he couldn’t feel anything he shouted, “get me scissors.” Ren grabbed the scissors and ripped her clothes from her chest. He placed his one hand on top of the other on the centre of her chest. Using his body weight to administer the compression he was pressing hard and fast against her chest. He was compressing more then a hundred times per minute, he was visible exhausted but that didn’t stop him. He was doing his best. He again checked her pulse and still nothing. He again gave her CPR, as fast as he could be, giving all his power and energy. “doctor, are you okay?” a voice came from behind. Ren was too exhausted to look behind. He kept on going. “doctor, I’ll change hands.” The voice came again. But now he had a hand on his shoulder. “doctor change hands with me.” The female intern came running to him changing hands with him. She started doing the compressions. Ren fell on the ground. he looked exhausted and sweaty. Stretching out his arm he was looking at the unconscious woman lying in front of him. Suddenly the woman took a big drag of oxygen. Seen her back ren had a faint smile on his face, like he had achieved something. Something that doesn’t have to use the powers that he is scared to use. The powers that only caused disaster. ‘at least this way she will live a normal life.’ He thought. The interning doctor had a smile on her face too. - - - - - - - - - - “how is the patient?” Ezekiel said as he entered the bus and saw a paramedic standing next to a young man who was bleeding. His eyes widened as he saw an umbrella penetrating his chest. “his breathing is slow and his pulse is dropping.” The man said. Ezekiel examined his chest and his neck and his other wounds and said, “his veins are all very swollen,” he said. “it looks like there is pressure on heart because of the blood pooling from the umbrella that’s stuck in his chest.” He added. “intern! Intern! Bring me the field response kit. Hurry!!” he shouted. “yes doctor! Understand.” She ran and came to him. “open the response kit, it has to have a chest tube inside give it to me.” “yes doctor!” she said and did as told. “you can’t incubate doctor.” The intern said. “his right side is trapped under the bus. He will loss a lot of blood.” She said again. “what should we do?” Ezekiel asked. “we should first lift this part.” She pointed at the part of the bus which was pressing the man’s body. It was a part from the ceiling of the bus. One end of which was still connected to it. “help me then…” Ezekiel tried lifting in with the help of many other people. But it was too heavy to be moved by the bare hands. “why is it so heavy?” Ezekiel said. “the bus is pressing against the building. We will need special equipment’s to cut it through. “how long will it take?” he asked to the paramedic. “about half an hour.” He answered. “please do it as fast as possible.”
