Ivan rushed to open the chest, the content nearly made his eyes pop out. Inside was eighteen-hundred gold coins, three pieces of equipment, two of which emitted a faint blue light, and a black and green item at the bottom of the box. Ivan’s eyes immediately went to the item, he put all of the others in his backpack and then examined the mysterious item.     Shadow’s Broken Heart (Rare) Profile: Shadow Giant’s heart. It was broken by an external force. A rare material to replenish mana. With it, the player will bounce the damage inflicted back to the attacker. "Oh, my goodness!" Ivan exclaimed, “It is like it was designed for me.” He removed the Guru's Heart from the equipment bar. After several missions, it only had 40,000 points left. “A rare material to replenish mana? What if I put them together? Can I repair the Guru's Heart with it?” Ivan couldn’t stop thinking, looking at the two items in his hands. "What if there is a side effect?" Ivan didn’t know what to do. "Anyway…" Ivan finally put the Broken Heart on the Guru's Heart. "Boom!" Following the loud sound, a streak of blue light beamed out from Ivan's hand. Under the mysterious light, Shadow’s Broken Heart melted like a candle and then merged to the Guru's Heart, until there’s no sign of Shadow’s Broken Heart left. Watching the entire process, Ivan felt the one repaired was not the equipment but his heart. Looking at renewed Guru’s Heart, Ivan clicked on the Stats. Broken Guru’s Heart (Epic) An epic artifact created by ancient God! Players can gain infinite MP wearing it. It was broken by a Demogorgon during a war. Feature: Mana 80,000/200,000 Special effect: Repairable; missing mana is fillable with common MP potion. Additional special effect: Repair+1; Upon being hit by a basic attack, there’s 40% chance to reflect 25% damage "Oh, my!" Ivan exclaimed as he looked at the brand-new Guru’s Heart. He was lost for words. He was shocked to see that not only could Shadow’s Broken Heart repair the Guru's Heart, but also it had brought it to a whole new level. Plus, there was an additional special effect. “Reflect 25% damage? This means the attacker will lose 25 HP every time I lose 100 HP. What if I lose 2000 or 5000….Em, wait for a moment…do I even have 5000 HP?” Ivan was disappointed to see his HP Stats, “Anyway, now that I have Guru’s Heart repaired, I can buy some MP potion to fill it up.” Ivan put Guru’s Heart into his backpack, slowly and carefully. Then he checked the rest of his rewards, there were some common materials, and three more equipment. Ivan took them out and checked their Stats one by one. Shadow Robe (Rare) DEF: +28 RES: +33 Wisdom: +13 Con: +12 Equipment Level: 18 EP: 35/35   Shadow Cape (Rare) DEF: +26 RES: +35 Wisdom: +12 Con: +11 Equipment Level: 18 EP: 30/30   Shadow Ring (Special) ATK: +21 Wisdom: +9 Equipment Level: 17 EP: 20/20 Ivan noticed two of them were mana equipment, which was pretty useful in the group game. “RES? Magic resistance? Great! Now that I have them, I don’t have to be afraid of mana anymore,” Ivan then turned to the Shadow Ring, “Shadow Ring? Holy s**t! I am so worried that my luck will soon run out.” The ring was jewelry equipment, the chance of finding it was really low, not to mention the fact that it was jewelry with ATK. “And the user level required is minimum level…17! Oh, my baby, let’s see how beautiful you are on my hand,” Ivan couldn’t wait to put it on, “What a beautiful ring! It must be worth at least five hundred gold coins on the Good-deal Exchange.” Ivan then put another two pieces of equipment back into the backpack and took out the Scroll of Town Portal. As he was ready to be back, Ivan suddenly noticed the fog floating above the swamp where Shadow Giant was born. He thought it was odd that when Shadow Giant died, the fog didn’t dissipate. Ivan slowly approached the fog, filled with curiosity. 10 feet! 5 feet! The closer Ivan got to the center, the more terrified he became. He was experiencing something he never had before. Finally, he crept close enough to see what was behind the swamp. The center of the swamp was calm as glass. He didn’t know what to expect but he didn’t hesitate before he jumped into the swamp. It was like Ivan jumped onto a trampoline, he bounced right back. A system message appeared, “Player level is too low to enter!” "What’s this? A hidden dungeon?" Ivan couldn’t believe what was he could see on the other side. Hot magma, a strong tornado, a blood-red river, a headless creature holding a huge broken ax, and some unknown mob with eagle’s head and snake’s body. They never stopped waving the weapons and fought like it was the end of the world. Blood, flesh, and broken bodies were scattered everywhere. Even though Ivan couldn’t hear anything that was happening on the other side, it was like a live concert playing in front of him. Horror mob and endless m******e? Hell? Or a Concentration Camp? Ivan questioned as he thought it may not have been a bad thing to be blocked out of the horrible world. The last thing he wanted was to face another mob who was at Level 80.
