SHE KNEW WHAT she promised Jasmine, but as the day progressed, she wasn’t so sure she could go through with it. It was one thing for the other witches to know she was one of them. They weren’t going to gawk at her, like she was some kind of freak. It was quite another, however, for those who were not part of the scene to know. The past two years, she came to depend on Derek too much to lose him now. He was her best friend, and while Phoebe may think there was the chance for more between them, Kelly wasn’t sure she wanted to take the chance that her boss was wrong.
