Grandma was doing fine. Everything was going well, singing in the car and dancing. When we got to Oklahoma, we went to let the family know we were in town. Ashley had never been here before, but she loved it. The house was so big and the yard was big and filled with flowers and chairs to sit on. Ashley played with other kids that were there as well. We ate lunch with the family, then we left and went to get a hotel, so we could sleep. My mom ordered a pizza, so we could eat supper, but grandma did not feel like eating, so Ashley got up and got her some water, so she could drink. Ashley's grandma just wanted to sleep and not get up. Ashley slept by her grandma and made sure she was okay when she moved. The next day was the family gathering and Ashley's grandma was so weak that she could not walk out of the place they were at. Ashley helped her mom push her out in a wheelchair and help her get in the car. Ashley got in the back of her mom's car. Ashley's mom was flying to get back to Kansas, so they could get Ashley's grandma to the hospital. This time Ashley already knew that she was sick again. Ashley prayed all the way home for her grandma to be okay and for their safety. When they got to Kansas, Ashley's mom pulled up to the hospital. Ashley got out of the car and opened the car door for her grandma, so her mom could get the wheelchair close to get her into the hospital. Ashley's grandma got a room just like that. The doctor was in there really fast. After they took chest x-rays, they flew her in a helicopter to another hospital. Ashley asked her mom if they could go with her because her grandma hated to fly. Ashley's mom said she would be fine, and they went home and cooked and waited for Ashley's mom's boyfriend for we could go see grandma. When they got to the hospital they asked where Ashley's grandma was at and the nurse showed them where she was and told us how she'd been. But Ashley walked straight into the room where her grandma was lying so peaceful, so Ashley talked to her while holding her hand, letting her grandma know that she always loved her, but you" got to fight and get better, for I can still have you grandma. Her grandma squizzed her hand to let Ashley know she heard her. Ashley's mom came into the room and told grandma she loved her, but we were going home. We are back tomorrow to check on you mom. On the way home it was quiet but Ashley could not help look out the window to see the sky and asking her self why is my grandma so sick she did not under stand that her grandma was getting older and getting more sicker.
