EREBUS

Chapter Two

Everyone hurried to their positions! Woe to the servant who the god of darkness met not in his duty post for such a servant would prefer to die as an ant who could easily be stepped on because that way of dying would be by far better than how he would die in the hands of Erebus.

'' You have got to stop making your servants so afraid of you'' Athena, goddess of war and wisdom says as she walked with Erebus down the hallway. ''Whoa! Take it easy'' she adds after Erebus gives her a killer glare '' sometimes I wonder how we're friends'' Athena continued. Now, Athena was the only friend Erebus had besides his cousin Aphrodite, god of beauty and the most stupid god alive... although they called Aphrodite god of beauty, it was unarguable that Erebus was a lot more beautiful than him. His black long hair is mostly let to fall, his transparent gray eyes and wide plump lips that had a shade of pink to it and his beautiful skin...not to talk to even mention his body! Sometimes Aphrodite swore the person in charge of giving names to gods made a mistake. His cousin would've been; EREBUS, god of darkness and beauty and he would just be; Aphrodite, god of Stupidity.

The real world ( in the story): ''Hold on! Why does Erebus almost have the same facial expression as Erggy... only Erggy's still young'' Clara asks looking at Mira who smiles evily in reply ''Grandma!'' Clara drags causing everyone to laugh...'' now now, back to the story'' Mira says pulling Clara close to her...

Erebus and Athena walk into Erebus' room '' So how long will you keep battling the underworld with Hades?'' Athena asks Erebus biting on an apple as she takes a seat opposite him '' You already have your side'' she adds (Hades is god of death and the Underworld). Erebus burst into laughter ''Oh please...'' he begins...'oh that accent!!!' Athena thought '' You and I both know I can get the Underworld if I want to. Chaos (Erebus father) would be proud'' he adds ''I know'' Athena says letting out a heavy sigh '' Then why did you ask?'' he asks her...''I just wanted to hear your voice'' she says giving him that *fan girl* look.

A lot of goddess would do anything for Erebus to pick them as his wife but Erebus on the other hand doesn't even know how mercy feels not to talk of love...

''Urgh!'' Erebus mutters rolling his eyes and he lets out a black cloudy smoke that could allow him see everywhere round the world. ''What are you looking for this time?'' Athena asks ''Oh mighty god of wisdom doesn't know what a mere god of darkness is looking for?'' Aphrodite says making his way into the room ''Oh spare me Aphrodite! I'm the god of wisdom not a god of know-what-someone's-thinking'' she says as Aphrodite places a soft kiss on her cheeks ''Hey! My main man!'' he shouts gesturing to shake his cousin's hand. Erebus just looks at the hand with that 'filthy!' face look and continues to his business causing Athena to burst into laughter ''One day, you'll need me and I'll give you the same face you always do...THAT FACE!'' he shouts pointing at Erebus ''Do you dare raise your voice at the god of darkness?'' Erebus asks his cousin as disgusting black creatures(which the Author says she won't describe) come from the darkest realms to capture Aphrodite at once.

''Forgive me cousin!'' Aphrodite screams begging already on his knees ''Oh please Erebus! You know how much I hate these things!'' Aphrodite screams louder almost barfing...

N/B: Erebus didn't really want to send his cousin to the darkest realms. He just always played about doing it because he knows how much Aphrodite hates the guards.

Erebus demonstrates with his hands for them to leave as Athena laughed and they immediately do. Aphrodite immediately starts placing lots of kisses on Erebus's cheek thanking him ''I always knew blood is thicker than water'' he adds.

Real world: ''He could do that to his cousin?'' Clara asks in shock ''Oh no dear. He only did that to scare Aphrodite but, he could do it without thinking when it came to non-family'' Mira replies ''What did the guards look like?'' Ergon asks ''and the darkest realms'' John adds...''Oh boys, you don't wanna know'' Mira replies...

Erebus suddenly stops surfing the cloud...

Then suddenly they appear on Earth ''I hate whenever you do that'' Athena says adjusting her dress. Meanwhile, Aphrodite got up and began to dust himself as he did not have a pleasant landing. ''Really Erebus you have to...'' ''Shh!!!'' Erebus immediately shouts to stop Aphrodite as he stared at a girl...''look'' he adds pointing at her ''Yeah that's food'' Aphrodite replies in confusion ''Hold up, you were looking for food? Why didn't you just eat her from the clouds? Only servants come down to get food'' He adds...''So I was...'' Erebus says not even paying attention to his cousin...'food...' he thought...the girl had long hair, brown eyes, and a lovely hour glass figure. She was average in size and was thick with the most lovely voice which they knew because she was singing. ''Have you ever seen such...food?'' Erebus asked ''Actually, no. She looks like a goddess of beauty. One I would die for'' Aphrodite says and Erebus immediately glares at him ''What did you say?'' Erebus asks him with disgust ''Oh spare me Erebus! You know that's only a dream. gods and humans can't be together unless Zeus'' Aphrodite says ''And which law states that?'' Erebus asks ''I don't know but...'' ''I wasn't talking to you'' Erebus says cutting Aphrodite short, again as he turns and looks at Athena with a commanding stare and Athena knew he was serious...''none Erebus. But there are consequences'' She says

''Which are?''

"Why do you want to know Cousin?'' Aphrodite asks

Athena knew fully well Erebus didn't take them there to get the girl for food. But...no...it wasn't possible. Besides, he was engaged to his other cousin...he couldn't have eyes on a girl for the first time and it was a HUMAN!

Before Athena could give a reply to Erebus question, the Cow the woman was milking suddenly screamed and ran off ''Philip!'' she screams running after it...''Oh no! we have to help her!'' Erebus shouts running down the hill to follow the woman...help? Not even a god? A human for that matter? ''Is my cousin okay?'' Aphrodite asks Athena with confusion written all over his face ''Urgh! come on!'' Athena replies dragging him to join Erebus in annoyance 'I can't believe someone can be so dumb' she thought.
