Chapter 28 – Back to London

            After last romantic night Ria is so happy that she kept on humming while getting ready to go to the airport. She wanted to replace her wedding ring with the one I gave her last night. So, asked me whether she could do so. But I was reluctant to allow her as I can’t go against my family tradition. Then she directly called mom and told her wish. She was jumping with joy on keeping the phone. Mom gave her the permission to wear the ring. Ria immediately took a selfie showing the ring on her finger and send it instantly to mom. Mom replied with a thumbs up sticker.

            We decided to appoint Sarah as the caretaker of the villa. Sarah had cleaned all our dresses and packed it in the bags. We left the villa early in the morning as we have to travel a long distance to reach the airport. We boarded half an hour earlier. Ria held my hand throughout the journey. She was so happy that her smile never faded. She sat in the window seat and I sat beside her.

“Dani, you are going to show the whole of London in this one week. Okay?” She glanced at me with a smile.

“Yes and no. I will take you and show London as much as possible but only after two days.” I clarified myself.

“But, why? Then what are we going to do for two days. I am not going to stay in the bed for two whole days. Don’t even think about it.” She turned and imitated like punching me hard.

“Naughty girl, you are just ready for me. Let me check you, I am sure that you are already wet for.” And I slid my hands through her thighs which she immediately grabbed and pinched it hard.

“Ouch, it hurts Ria. Don’t worry I will explore you only at night. Actually there is an emergency at the office in London so I have to be there to solve it. Don’t worry it will not take long. Zack already had tackled the situation. I just need to meet some of the clients and sign some papers.” I said and she nodded in agreement.

“So, where are we staying?” she enquired and I could read from her eyes a plea to not to stay at hotel.

“In our apartment. I have already told the housekeeper to clean it.” I smiled at her and gave a peck on her lips.

“By the way, thank you my dear wife.” She looked me puzzled.

“For taking the right move at the right time.” She again looked at me confused.

“You send all my office suits to the apartment before we left London. So, I have something to wear to the office tomorrow.”

“You don’t have any of your suits at the apartment earlier.” She asked me amused.

“Whenever I visit London I carry my things along with me and back when I go back. So, I don’t keep anything in the apartment.” I explained.

After 3 hours of flight we landed in London. We took a cab to our apartment. I haven’t informed my uncles or cousins that I am coming back to London so they couldn’t sent the car. I planned to tell them only after my business is over because if mom knows that I am again into business leaving Ria alone during our honeymoon she will get angry. 

            When we reached our apartment the housekeeper was standing waiting for us. She had cleaned the apartment and arranged everything we needed. She had prepared lunch so we freshened up and ate lunch together. After that I said goodbye to Ria and went to my office. I felt bad for leaving her alone. I should do something for her to keep her busy.

            I had a meeting with one of our clients and it took more than two hours. After my meeting I told Zack to cancel all other appointments because Ria was alone.

“Dani, if you cancel your appointments today then it will take more than two days to resolve everything. Either you have to leave thinking about Hazel or arrange something to get her engaged.” Zack said and I know that’s true.

“You are correct Zack. Don’t cancel the appointments. But what can I do to keep her engaged. Otherwise she will get bored.” I couldn’t stop bothering.

“Why don’t you send her to one of your Uncle’s house?” Zack asked.

“’I can’t do that. I haven’t informed them that I am back in London. They will tell mom that I am busy with the business during my honeymoon and you know my mom. If she knows she will take the next flight to sue me.” I sighed.

“Then arrange a car with driver so she could go shopping or wherever she wants.” Zack suggested.

“That’s a good idea. I will do that and also give her my credit card so she could go shopping. But I bet she wouldn’t spend a single penny out of it.” Zack smiled at my comment.

“Looks like she really is a person who values money. Good for you. You really needed someone like her to control your ass.” Zack laughed at me.

“Zack mind your tongue. I am your boss.” I warned.

“Sorry sir” Zack lowered his head but I could see a smirk on his face.

            Zack is not just my secretary but he is also my best friend. I always had his back whenever I needed him. I had to take over the business from my father when he had health problems. I was just 23 then and had no experience in business. If it was not for Zack I would have not able to handle the business.

            When we finished with the business for the day it was already 11.00 pm. Zack had arranged car for me. When I reached the apartment Ria had fallen asleep on the coach in the living room probably waiting for me. Without waking her up I went to the bedroom and took a quick shower and changed into trousers and a t-shirt. Then I went down and saw that Ria was still sleeping. So, I went to the kitchen and found that dinner was set on the table. So, she was waiting for me to have dinner together. i checked whether the food was still warm and it was not. So I micro waved it and then went to wake up Ria.

“Dani, when did you come? I didn’t hear you coming. Why didn’t you wake me up?” she asked as she noticed that I have already changed.

“I didn’t want to disturb your sleep. You look like an angel when you are sleeping” I kissed her forehead.

“I look like an angel only when I am sleeping. That means I am a devil when I am awake” she pouted at me.

“You are an angel when you are asleep but you are heavenly when you are awake my love.” I took her into an intimate kiss before I parted away from her. She is all red from blushing.

            We sat down to have dinner. Ria served me the food and sat beside me. I started to eat and didn’t look towards Ria until I was almost finished with the food. The food was really tasty and I couldn’t stop myself. Ria was looking at me anxiously and hadn’t touched her food.

“What happened my dear? Is there any problem?” I asked her with concern.

“How is the food?” she looked at me anxiously.

“It’s great, actually I couldn’t stop eating. But why you are so concerned? Did you make it?” She nodded her head with a blush.

“Really, it’s really good Ria. Oh my God, I thought you were never going to make me anything after that sandwich. I loved it my love. Thank you so much. You made my day.” I praised her but felt that I couldn’t express what I felt through words. So, I took her into a breath taking kiss. She was panting after we parted away. We finished our dinner and I helped her to clean the dishes.

            We went to our room and after an hour of passionate love making she slept in my arms. As usual I woke up at 5.00 for my work out. I never needed an alarm despite of how late I slept. I never missed my work out where ever I am except for the last time when Ria forced me to sleep with her and ended up almost missing the flight. I needed to work out more as I have over eaten last night because of the mouth watering food Ria made for me last night.

            After 2 hours of work out, I came back to our room and found Ria still sleeping. She is obviously a heavy sleeper. She never wakes up when I put her down from my arms before going to work out. I went to the washroom and took a long shower and came back wrapping a towel around the waist. Ria was not on the bed. She might be gone to make me coffee. I changed into my formal suit and went down. Ria had already prepared breakfast and set the table. She had changed after shower.

“You have already changed but when did you wake up.” I asked her.

“I woke up as soon as you closed the door of the washroom. So, I decided to shower in other room.” She replied.

“But why have you worn a formal dress?” I glanced at her questioningly.

“Because I am coming with you to your office as I can’t stay here alone anymore. I was just pissed off yesterday.” She made a sad face.

“I am so sorry my baby. But you will get bored in the office. I have planned for you something.” I said.

“I would be comfortable at office. You don’t have to bother.” She tried to persuade me.

“I will be Ria, if you are around me I will just keep thinking about you. So, I have a job for you. First you go and change into something casual.” And without a word she went and changed.

“Now take this card and go shopping. I have arranged a car for you which will take you wherever you want.” She took the card and said.

“I am going to do as you said because I don’t want to bother you. I want you to finish your business as soon as possible and don’t worry about me. I will enjoy myself.” She said and caressed my cheek.

“By the way do you want me to buy anything for you?” she asked me.

“Whatever you like buy it for me and I will definitely love it.” I said and we left our ways.

            Ria didn’t bother me for the next three days. She prepared dinner and waited for me at night. It was only on the third day I found that she cooked food for me by looking internet. she actually didn't know how to cook.

I was just amazed to know that she was cooking these dishes for the first time and that too only for me. I am overwhelmed by her action. On these days she had gone shopping and bought nothing for her but for me and my parents. I felt great to know that she concerned for my parents.

            I had done with my business and I came back early on the third day with the intention of surprising Ria. I got home before her and prepared dinner and waited for her to return. But she surprised me instead. She bought a watch for me which will always keep me connected with her. It was a paired watch for couples. The speciality of the watch was that it can find its pair even if no GPS works.

            We went to bed after dinner to wake up next day to continue our honeymoon. But before that we had to visit Uncle Henry and family.
