A NEW MASTER
Thane and I were trying to sneak out into his room, but we got caught by other werewolves.
The Lord of the werewolves, likely Thane's father is shocked and outraged to discover his secret relationship with me, a slave. Thane stands up for me declaring his love for me, but this only angers his father further.
The lord orders that I be sold to Lucien, Kael's cousin. I was devastated standing frozen in tears as I was dragged away. Thane tried to fight for my freedom,but the Lord's anger turned to fury
"you're a member of this pack, Thane. You can't be involved with a slave. Especially not one who's already been... tainted by others"
I felt a surge of despair as the Lord's words sealed my fate.
The lord's final words still echoed in my mind as I was handed over to Lord Lucien.
"sell her to him. Get her out of our sight"
My heart sank as I met Lord Lucien's cold gaze. I was been torn away from Thane, and back into the darkness.
I thought I'd escape.
I was let out of my cold cage were I was and brought to this man whom I know nothing about.
