Chap 13

Coleen stepped out of her room and went to the garage with her purse on her left shoulder.

The blue puffy dress was wonderful with a pair of black boots that matches the attire.

She went inside the car and there was Kyle staring at her magnificently, like he was dreaming of an angel.

"So, can you really drive? Your hand might be a little swollen and you can't focus yourself on the road." She suggested and pointed his right hand.

"Okay, but just do not panic if ever something happens. The road is more safer than in the city so maybe this is the great time for you to drive without stress." They switched seats and now Coleen is the driver.

"I will tell you the location of our first destination, LJL Amusement Park. It is the nearest park here because it only takes 20 minutes to drive." Kyle sets the phone to the amusement park and it gives the exact location from the house.

Coleen started the car and drove. "What is actually that place? I mean what can I see there?"

"You will see lots of children of course, dogs with their owners walking. But, this place have lots of street vendors and their masterpiece that we need to try."

She focused herself on the road while music was playing on the radio. Kyle opened the window and slightly leaned his head to the car seat to relax.

The directions were easy to recognize because there were only a few left and right to do.

After a few minutes and as expected, they arrived at their first destination, the LJL Amusement Park.

She parked the car in the free space of the parking lot, where lots of cars were there with different brands and colors.

"We have just arrived at our first ever amusement park, Kyle." Coleen showed excitement and joy, she was the first to come out of the car.

Kyle have no choice but to follow Coleen, he held her hand and walked towards the park.

There were many kids as expected, dogs with their owners and vendors around the park yelling for the visitors to buy their food.

"I always wanted to try street food, should we try them all today?"

Kyle chuckled."Wow, what did you actually eat yesterday? You were not like this, you are actually picky at things and food."

"Uhm, you know, I should be more in the level with you. I was too picky I know, but now wasn't the time for that, I realized every mistake and decisions I did in the past. I will be paying back the love you gave me for years, my love." 

Coleen looked at him honestly, while Kyle felt so lucky and warm as Coleen said her words.

"So, let's try that food over there." Kyle pointed out the first vendor at the entrance.

"Err, wanna try my lovely takoyaki? They are fresh with vegetables sliced in bits." The woman in his middle 30's came to them as she saw they were going toward her place.

Kyle looked at their menu, then held his wallet."I would like 2 orders of 5 set of takoyaki, please."

"Roger that, young man."

He was about to hand his paper money when Coleen handed hers as payment.

"I am the one who is going to pay everything, don't bother paying our meals." Kyle was surprised, she never volunteered paying when they are eating outside.

"Hey, I also have the right to pay our meals, I shouldn't be spoiled and let your hard worked money disappear like that, I should have a share in paying, too." She said 

The woman handed her the change and she looked at the nice couple in front of her shop.

"What a nice couple, never have felt like that before!" 

The man in his 40's came out with chopsticks in his hand.

"Hey, I also did that back in our day," the man looked at them happily, "Don't bother her, she is just jealous because you guys are young." He chuckled then the woman gave him a s***k him in the shoulder.

"You should have been cooking, not chitchatting with our lovely couple." She pointed the kitchen area, jokingly. "You are going to waste their date!" 

"It is fine with us, we can wait here for minutes, don't worry." Coleen said then they sat at the bench near the shop.

"Err, back in my day, that man came to me and promised to love me and will gave me a good life." The woman said. "But, as you can see, we ain't living a luxurious life, I never left him in time of grief. I accepted who he is and what fate is given to us."

The woman wiped her hands in a white towel from her shoulder. "Meaning, I didn't marry him because of money, I married him because I love him." She spoke. "Enjoy your life together, in vain and in happiness, no matter what. That is true love."

Both of them nodded and their orders was handed to them by the man with a smile in his face.

"She even accepted my past and so I accepted hers too, mistakes that were made in the past isn't what a person should be described." He said and gave them the fresh cooked takoyaki.

"Thanks for your advice, we will keep it until we die. Thank you." Kyle said and started to walk to the park.

Kyle now realized, there were also people in love with the sane situation as them. A love with flaws.

"Hmm, this takoyaki have a different texture! It is so delicious, oh gosh." Coleen exclaimed while pointing out the takoyaki in her hands.

"I know right, I have never seen them before, but I guess they gave out a very important advice." Kyle took a bite and they walked through the park.

They walked and tried everything in the park, their stomachs full and their taste buds didn't want to stop tasting new food.

After an hour of eating and having a walk in the whole park, they sat on a bench and took a break.

"My tummy doesn't want to eat anymore but my mouth wanted to eat more. Didn't know how much worth it street foods are and they were even in low prices." Coleen said.

"So, I think we should not be eating too much, we have more amusement parks to check on." Kyle tried inhaling more oxygen and his stomach aching.

"But, mommy, I want to buy some ice cream over there. Kids are eating ice cream and I want too." A boy and her mother passed at them while he was still crying.

He really wanted to eat some but his mother refuses. "Darling, we do not have enough money to buy some ice cream, I told you we will only go to the park but not buy food. Both of us are working for your future, Benjur, you will understand someday." The mother explained but Coleen can't take the scenario.

"But dad didn't even showed up today, it's my birthday." He pouted.

She stood up and bought 4 ice cream, she gave one to Kyle and each one for the kid and the mother.

"Here, you said you wanted some, so take it as your gift, okay?" Coleen said while handing the ice cream to the 5 year old boy.

"But, you don't need to do this, young lady." The woman tried to refuse her offer but still accepted.

"Thank you, miss. I hope you will live more longer with my mom and dad." The boy thanked her and they left.

Coleen looked at the whole park, happy children running and playing. Parents having a good conversation, some kids crying because they wanted to eat some ice cream.

She smiled, her life in the city was so different from the life where Kyle grew up. It was so much full of wonder and happiness unlike her childhood.

"How is your hand anyway? Does it feel hurt or anything?" She asked.

"Nope, can't even feel a thing. Let's go to the next amusement park if you like?" Kyle offered and both of them walked to the parking lot.

The heat of the sun wasn't that painful in their skin, but their hands were more warmer and they loved it.

Both of them were full and didn't want to eat any food.

"I will be the one to drive, my hands are well and the next destination is quite harder." He said and Coleen agreed.

Kyle started the car and went to their next destination, Polaris Amusement Park, the smallest park.

It took almost 15 minutes to arrive, there were no parking lots and the park was small than LJL.

There were no kids or dogs taking a walk, just couples having their quiet time in the park.

"This is also called the 'Couple's Park', and you know the reason." He said.

"Yeah, it is very obvious." She chuckled and they went to the park.

There were many couples in a small park, some doing a picnic and some taking a walk around.

"It is a bit quiet than the other one. This is the best to relax, huh." Coleen whispered then Kyle nodded.

They walked in to the park, and everyone looked at them like they were the perfect couple.

Kyle in his 5'11 height while Coleen in 5'7 is such a dream for couples. Coleen with her pretty face and Kyle with the best feature in his face is a very dream of every woman.

Kyle Jimenez is very popular to girls and gays since his high school. He was the Campus Crush because of his handsome features but he wasn't aware of that.

Coleen Hasine was the popular girl in her high school, but it wasn't because she was pretty, it was because she was smart. Her features in the past isn't that pretty, but she was famous for having perfect scores at school

But, in their time in college everything went very smooth and fast as they met. Kyle was more famous than before, he was more known in other schools because he was part of the best basketball team. Coleen became more prettier as she matured, but became dumber as she said.

She became famous too, many people would create love teams using their names in different ways.

"Hey, I think this is the time I should ask you, who is the first one to have feelings?" Coleen said.

"Uh, maybe you?" Kyle laughed.

Coleen pinched him a bit, "Er, of course no! You were the one who keep sending me letters in my locker, silly."

"Letter in your locker? But I didn't put in your locker, I always tell Matt to put it in your desk before." He was confused.

"Past is past, maybe some stalker loved me crazily before." Coleen said.

They held their hands tightly snd walked around the park meeting different couples.

"Kyle, we should rest under that tree. There are nobody there and it is best for us to stay in some place where no one is around." She pointed the tree in the left side of the walk.

"Yeah, the sun is too hot in this time." He agreed and they sat there to rest.

Coleen leaned her head to Kyle's shoulder while her right hand in his left hand resting.

"I love you, Kyle. Thank you for being by my side all the time, please don't let go of my hand." She muttered then closed her eyes.

"Never and never will." Kyle exhaled and smiled, he remembered the plan that he was about to do.

13 days and it will happen, my love.The plan I have been waiting for us.

You will be mine and I will be yours in the name of god. We will unite as one officially, Coleen Hasine.
