The next day, we were led into a large training room with about a dozen people standing in groups of two. They were all wearing black, one-piece clothing that looked a lot like a ship-suit, but the material was covered in a checkered pattern.
Xander walked up to Sarinda, who was standing at the front of the room. They both wore the black suits. She and Xander exchanged a look, which probably meant they were speaking telepathically, and she stepped aside so he could address the small crowd.
