Love? or Hate?

Adhena was on her way to hospital to see her mom when her dad asked her to come home. Home,That word makes adhena laugh .That house which she felt as home ,where she felt safe, is a nightmare for her now. Everything was ok when her sister and grandpa was with her. But now.. Her dad always wanted a son.Because of which he was not so happy with her and her sister. For them a fatherly figure was their grandpa. He loved Anne her elder sister a lot that's why he gave her grandma's name. She was a shy very silent girl unlike adhena. Because of which her running away affected grandpa a lot and when he felt a decision made by him was the reason for her disappearance , that guilt took him to his death bed. Immediately after his death dad brought his mistress Rachel to our home with their son Charles. Who was elder than me which actually shocked me .But it only surprised me. Mom had already known about his betrayal long back, however for us she was always silent. And she continued that silence for me. When living in that house under the shadow of Rachel and Charles. The only thing adhena had in mind is she has to leave this house and make a good life for her mom and her. But she had to tolerate many things even the torture from Charles. When his advances towards her changed its direction from physical to s****l. She was forced to stay with her friend in a rented apartment. she studied hard to achieve her goal. However it again turned bad when her mom was diagnosed with cancer. She had to get money for her treatment which was difficult without her dad's help. Adhena even did some part-time job to get enough money for treatment since her dad was not willing to spend much. After graduation she started working in a small companies. After work she will go to hospital to see her mom. When she got the call she really wanted to say No to her dad,however for her mom she agreed to meet. When she reached Hunts mansion she was reluctant to go inside. She took a deep breath and opened the gate. Adhena was shocked seeing Rachel's happy expression. Her dad's mistress was so open to show dislike towards her and mom. Now she was happily informing dad about her arrival. Many suspicions raised in her mind. Still she patiently waited for dad to come. Mr hunt was little reluctant to tell her the news. Adhena sensed this she doesn't want to spend much time in this home so she asked him " I was going to meet mom. Since you said it's urgent I came here directly. anything bad? " "nothing like that adhena. We were thinking about you yesterday.If your grandpa was here he would have done this earlier. It's high time we should think about your marriage" Adhena knows her dad and rachel well. They won't be interested in her until there is something for them to gain. So she wanted to know that. " My marriage? I think you have other things to concern over rather than my marriage. Especially Hunts enterprise. I heard it is not in a good condition. Your son is not abe to manage it" She said purposefully to provoke him. He won't tolerate anything against Charles. " I am only telling for your own good. why you should work hard in those companies you can enjoy the life which many girls dream" She was shocked by her dad's reply .he didn't scold her for badmouthing charles "And you are suggesting I will get it after marriage. I didn't see the same for my mom" She wanted to test his patience "adhena it is different for me and your mom which you can't understand." " Yeah dad I will never understand that. However I really wanted to understand why suddenly my marriage have caught your attention" She was really becoming impatient she wanted to know why suddenly Rachel and Dad is so interested in her.
