Working With Alfonso

CHAPTER NINE

Alfonso (POV)

I arrived in Italy and went straight to my hotel. I needed to watch up...maybe a little nap before heading to my company.

I went straight to the presidential suite and gave instructions not to be disturbed for the next two hours, that will be more than enough time to relax and clear my head.

To be clear about it all, am not here because of the mishap between I and that fire lady, am needed in the company. We're having some investors from China and I can't just leave it in the hands of my substitute.

Handling it is more preferable and ideal.

I pulled all my clothing and went to the enlarged bathroom for a quick bath.

I only had less than an hour to take a nap and my nap is necessary.

Am not one of those business men that work themelves to death and forget the importance of sleep.

My father was a good example of a business man that was married to his work, not that he was the type that doesn't spend time with his family but the idea of him been buried with business work was unhealthy.

Even on weekends he stays in the office.

On Sundays my mama has to drag him to attend service in church.

She's a very religious and holy person and the most lovely, kindest and generous person any children needs to have.

I slumped on the bed and clapped my hands and the light turned off.

I closed my eyes to sleep but an image of her came to my mind.

Gosh I hope this won't be an habit, now she will be working side by side with me....I don't wanna start seeing her in my dreams.

Right now am currently inside the limousine has it takes me to the company.

I checked my watch and see that it says 12:30pm.

The chinese investors notified that they will be coming tomorrow since there flight was delayed.

The weather was not favourble to pass through.

Finally arriving at my destination, percy opened the door and I got out and breath in fresh air.

I looked straight ahead to see all head managers in various department lining straight to welcome me.

With my bodyguards trailing behind me I walked to them and they all greeted me and I responded with a nod.

Immediately inside the building I pulled off my glass and looked around, employees standing with there head bows.

Am impressed with their behavior and more impressed by the building.

This is my second visit to this building, first time was when I was fifteen, during the weekend that workers don't come. Dad showed me what I will own if am serious in my education and not to ever disappoint him.

I turned to Percy, "é tutti ciò che ho richiesto in ordine".

(Is everything I requested for in order).

"sí".

I didn't waste anymore time and entered the private elevator, while the rest took their usual ride.

I stares at the numbers has it counted and finally the elevator pinged.

Percy and my bodyguard came out first and then I followed, seeing the rest managers has reached the floor.

I stepped out and walked ahead to my office and stopped when I saw john the substitute. He stood in the front with some workers behind him.

We walked to me and stretched my hand for a hand shake.

"Its good to have you here sir"he said.

"Me too"I replied back and then something cut my eyes.

I smirked when I saw the fire lady, with her body movement she seemed shaking.

Well this will be fun.

I wasted no time and went inside my office.....my father previous position.

It has changed only the painting.

I sat on the chair and smiled, this is my position and i am prepared for anything.

Well what's my schedule for today.....which I know I don't have, since am here for a little while.

I was interrupted with the knock on the door.

"Do come in"I said.

I looked up and smiled, well let the fun begin.

Aurora (POV)

After he entered we all went back to our various offices. I closed my door and rested my back to it.

Am so dead....so so dead, what an unfortunate encounter.

If I knew who he was back then in the hotel....if I knew he was Mr Andino I won't have been rude.

It isn't even my fault since its the first time for him to be seen in public.

Why? Why?, I turned to the door and banged my head continuously on the door.

What an hippo....can't even face me scary pants.

"I will leave......but tell your boss to be a man".

"Don't think because you rich, everyone should bow before you".

"Aurora that's it, you manage to survive the wolf park last year, but you can't survive this lion den." I said to myself.

"Why can't you ever keep your mouth shut....Auroraaaaaa"I continued slapping my mouth.

"What you doing" I heard the voice of the secretary.

"Eh...oh, am just practicing, oh i mean clearing my throat"i said.

Good one.

She looked at me weirdly and shaked her head.

"Whatever....you're Mr andino assistant right?"she asked.

"Yes".

"Clearly you know he will need a coffee and his schedule for this week"she remarked.

Shit?.

"Thanks"I rushed to out of my office and went to the office kitchen to make him a coffee.

I quickly made it the way I make mine at home, along with my notepad.

Arriving at his office and hesitated,

I breath in and out before knocking, and waited for a reply.

Hearing a deep voice granting my access inside, I opened it and walked in with my head bowed a little.

I purposely wore a transparent eyes glass that I took before leaving my office and let my hair down to cover half of my face.

"Sir your coffee"I said quietly.

Carefully laying on his desk and waited for him to sip and he did.

"Nice cup of coffee"he complimented.

I breath a sigh of relief and took out my notepad and narrated all his schedules for the remaining week has he continued sipping his coffee.

Having done that, I excused myself thanking the lord I wasn't recognized.

"Miss Aurora"he called out my name.

I stiffen and refused to turn back.

"I haven't dismissed you yet...besides we have some unfinished business we left off back in the hotel, am I right?"he uttered.

Here it's, now am definitely done for and I don't think I can escape.

I hesitated and turned to him and saw him with a smirk on his face.

"We meet again fire lady or should I say....my spite fire"he smiled.

I looked at him nervously and prayed for someone to save me from this.
