April's POV
Treason! There was just no way Liam was capable of thinking such a thing let alone do anything. This had to be wrong, but then Evelyn had read through Lauren's mind. So whatever had happened during their conversation, something must have caused her to think it.
"What do you mean treason?" Lucas asked. "Treason as in...?"
"As in over throw the current Alpha and reign yourself Treason" Evelyn replied.
Lucas looked absolutely crushed. I couldn't imagine how he felt at his own brothers betrayal.
"Luc, please try and remember that Evelyn and Lauren both say he's not himself" I soothed. I was eager to try anything to make him look less miserable.
He squeezed my hand, but didn't say anything.
"April's right Alpha" This from Lauren "It's honestly like he's possessed!"
