THE BETA'S ABUSED DAUGHTER FINAL COPY

4 PART 2

I started to fall asleep and when I closed my eyes all I saw was everything from my past reflecting onto my mind. It's like I was watching everything they have ever done to me flash before my eyes. I could feel my heart rate spike. I woke up with a startled gasp of breath and shooting straight up in the bed. I noticed a few things when I woke up. Lee was sitting across the room watching me. It almost looked like he was frozen. His mom was able to move a little bit and talk. 

“Ava, can you calm down. It will help if we can help you. You just need to breathe.” I started to do what she said and everything started to go back to normal. The moment Lee realized he could move he was by me in a second. I was frozen in shock as he was holding me. Rocking me trying to calm me down.

“I am so sorry. I don’t know what happened.” I was crying thinking I hurt them. “I didn’t mean to hurt you. I really didn’t mean to hurt y’all. I am so sorry.” 

“Shhh Ava you didn’t hurt us. You just froze us. It’s okay I promise. No one is hurt.” I listened to Lee as he was trying to calm me down. While he was rocking me back and forth I started to calm down. Everything was going back to normal. My heart rate was slowing down. I could breathe easier. I looked at him. 

“I am really sorry. I didn’t mean anything by it. I was scared because I really don’t know anything.” I said. I was looking down at my lap with my hands. I was trying to figure out how I did it. 

“Ava, hunny it’s okay really. We are both fine. I don’t want you to feel bad about this. I want to ask you something.” The Queen asked.

“Yes ma’am you can ask anything.” I replied to her. 

“What had you feeling the way you were feeling.” She asked. 

“It was my dream. It was the night Alpha Zeek raped me. It was like I was there all over again. I wanted one thing for my mate. Even though he didn’t want me. I never wanted to be like the sluts in this pack. I wanted to stay pure for if he ever changed his mind or if I found someone who didn’t have a mate and chose me. Now that will never happen. He took everything I wanted to save for someone I loved.”  I started crying again and I was trying to pull away from Lee. “You can reject me. I am used and dirty. I am not pure anymore. I know you don’t want me now.” 

“Ava. Stop. Look at me.” I did as he said. “That was not your choice, my uncle will get what he deserves no matter what. I want you to be my Queen. You are my mate. You are my life now. I am not going to leave you.” 

“Can you lay with me while I sleep? Maybe that will keep the dreams away.” 

“Of course I will Ava. Anything you want I will gladly give it to you.”  He replied back to me. This time when I fell asleep I didn’t dream of anything bad. My dream was strange.

I was walking through the woods when I saw a meadow with flowers everywhere. There was a river running through the middle and I could see the moon shining so brightly it lit everything with light. I was looking around when I saw her standing there watching me.

“Do not fret my child.” She said.

“W-w-h-o-o ar-re yo-u-u?” I asked.

“I am the Moon Goddess. Do not give up hope my child. Listen to Sky. she will guide you. Together you will bring peace between all species. You are the key. So pure and innocent. Yet strong and brave.”

I bowed as low as I could. I didn’t mean to just stare at her. 

“Forgive me goddess. I was rude in not bowing before you.” 

“Child don’t be so silly. Your road is still long. There are still things that need to be done. Trust in Sky. She is there to help guide you. You are going to have to do things that are not easy. You will have to relive everything and tell about it. Just remember who you are. Do not let your past consume you. Be brave child. Now I must go. It’s time for you to wake up again.”

She was just gone. Just like that. I jumped awake in the bed and looked around. Expecting to see that I wasn’t in the room. That I was in that meadow that brought me so much peace. I was looking around the room when I saw the Queen talking to people and Lee still by my side. He was watching me. I just looked at him. 

“Everything is ready for us to leave. Are you ready. You can sleep in the car there.” Lee said. 

“Yeah.” 

We all went downstairs. I had my backpack with me and was fixing to walk out of the door when someone’s screams stopped me. I turned around and saw the Beta Female standing at the stairs. She looked to be struggling. I went to turn around and leave when something caught me off guard. She shifted and ran towards us. You could tell it wasn’t her but her wolf. I jumped behind Lee as guards moved in on her. The King came over and saw her. He commanded her to shift and she did. She was still fighting for control. Her wolf won in the end. 

“You can’t just leave me. You are my pup. I don’t care what they say. You are mine. If you leave so do I. I will make my human weak. You can't just take my pup from me.” There was a slight growl to her voice. That’s just how we sound when our wolves take over. She was begging me not to go. I felt Sky coming forward and my body shivered from the feeling of her being present. Just as much as me. When she saw us she bowed her head and got on her knees. “I never wanted to hurt you. Either of you Sky. You know this in your heart. Search mine. Not my humans. You're my pup. I tried and failed at protecting you.” 

We did what she wanted but I am still leaving. 

“There will be buses here to pick up everyone from every family. To report to the castle in 3 days. My Beta will be staying here with you until they arrive. I suggest all of you show up.” The King said. “Anyone who doesn’t is guilty. There are no exceptions.” With that being said I felt Lee tug on my arm and we walked outside. I saw the cars there and we all got in. Me and Lee in the back seat of one. His parents in another. Then guards in all of the cars along with 4 other cars filled with guards. From then we headed to the castle.
