I arrive at my office a little before 9 AM. Sure enough, the guy shows up shortly thereafter. We go into the conference room where hopefully we won’t be interrupted.
“Well, let’s have it. All of it,” I say.
He says he picked up the girl in question, pretty sure from the description in the paper, and drives her into Phoenix from the Glendale truck stop. He leaves her off at a coffee shop in town.
He told her he had a couple of deliveries to do that would take two, possibly three, days to do, then he would return. If she is still at the coffee shop he will see her and catch up on how she is doing. If she needs another ride, or possibly they could do something together. I gather he is single and hitting on her. Don’t think he realizes she is so young.
