Eva's heart pounded in her chest as she sat on the edge of the bed, her body trembling with fear as the familiar terror crept in. She heard the front door slam shut, and dread washed over her. Prince Thomberson stumbled into the room, reeking of alcohol and swaying on his feet.
“God not again not again” eva spoke almost crying
Prince Thomberson : (slurring his words, his voice dripping with malice) "Where have you been hiding, you little minx?"
Eva: (her voice barely a whisper, terror gripping her) "Please, just leave me alone."
Prince Thomberson : (his tone harsh, his grip tightening) "I don't think so. You're mine, and I'll do whatever I want with you."
Eva's desperation mounted as she tried to fight back, but it was no use. She lay there, numb and broken, as Thomberson forced himself on her.
Eva stood trembling in the kitchen, her coffee long forgotten as she mustered the courage to confront Thomberson about the previous night's events. The morning sun filtered through the window, casting a warm glow that contrasted sharply with the cold dread in her heart.
Eva: (her voice shaking, tears welling up in her eyes) "How could you do that to me? You... you forced yourself on me last night."
Prince Thomberson : (his voice dismissive and cold) "I provide for you, and this is how you repay me? You should be grateful that's all I did."
Eva: (disbelief and anger rising in her voice) "Grateful? You violated me!"
Prince Thomberson : (scoffing, his eyes devoid of empathy) "Don't be so dramatic. I own you, remember? You're my property."
Eva recoiled, her worst fears confirmed as the weight of his words crashed down upon her. He saw her as nothing more than an object to be possessed and controlled.
Prince Thomberson : (his voice hard and cruel) "Now, if you're done with this nonsense, I have more important things to attend to."
With that, Prince Thomberson brushed past her, leaving Eva alone in the kitchen, her sobs echoing in the silence.
Eva: (whispering to herself, her voice laden with despair) "How can I live like this?"
As the day wore on, Eva struggled to keep her emotions in check, her mind replaying the traumatic events and ML's heartless words.
Eva: (thinking to herself, tears streaming down her face) "I can't stay here... I have to find a way out."
The weight of her situation settled heavily upon her, but a flicker of hope remained, urging her to fight for the freedom she desperately needed
In the following weeks, Eva's anxiety only worsened. She was nauseous, tired, and her body felt different. A visit to the doctor would confirmed her problem for sure.
Eva sat in the doctor's office, her hands anxiously twisting in her lap. The sterile environment did nothing to ease her nerves as she awaited the results of her pregnancy test. The doctor entered the room, her face solemn.
Doctor: (gently) "Eva, the test came back positive. You're pregnant."
Eva: (her voice barely a whisper, shock setting in) "Pregnant..."
Doctor: (concern etched on her face) "Are you alright? Is there anything I can do to help?"
Eva: (her mind racing, fear and uncertainty clouding her thoughts) "I... I need some time to process this."
As Eva left the clinic, the bustling city seemed to close in on her, mirroring the claustrophobic dread that consumed her thoughts.
Eva: (thinking to herself, her inner turmoil palpable) "How can I bring a child into this abusive relationship? What kind of a life would that be?"
The weight of her predicament pressed down on her, tears streaming down her face as she struggled to find a solution.
Eva: (her voice barely audible, desperation setting in) "God, what should I do? Do I tell him? Do I leave?"
As she walked through the park, the vibrant colors and sounds of nature seemed to mock her inner turmoil. Eva sank onto a bench, her sobs lost amidst the chatter of passersby.
Eva: (thinking to herself, her fear mounting) "He doesn't want me... How can I expect him to want a baby? But if I leave, how will I take care of myself and my child?"
She knew she had to tell him, despite the possible consequences. Eva braced herself for the conversation to come, her love for her unborn child fueling her determination to protect them both from the storm that awaited
Eva: (hesitant, her stomach twisting with anxiety) "I have something to tell you."
Prince Thomberson : (impatient, his eyes narrowing) "What is it now?"
Eva: (her voice shaking, dreading his reaction) "I'm pregnant."
Prince Thomberson’s face twisted with rage, his eyes blazing with fury.
Prince Thomberson : "You lying w***e! How dare you try to pass off another man's child as mine?"
Eva's desperation reached its peak as she broke down in tears, trying to explain that the baby was his, but ML wouldn't listen.
Prince Thomberson : (his voice cold and callous) "Get rid of it, or else."
Eva: (pleading, tears streaming down her face) "But it's dangerous. I could die!"
Prince Thomberson : (angrily) I don't care, just get rid of it
Eva: ( shakenly) No, I can't
Before she could speak further, Eva's world spun out of control as Prince pushed her roughly, sending her tumbling down the stairs. Pain shot through her body as Eva lay at the bottom of the staircase, her body wracked with pain as she felt the life inside her slipping away.
Terror consumed her as the pool of blood grew around her, Eva's vision began to fade, and everything went black.
