Prologue
The silence in the vicinity was soothing but her sobs got his attention.
He didn't understand why she was crying. That sound was disrupting the peace.
For once he wanted to be alone but then this plump girl who sat almost three feet away had to intrude in his secret place. Though he didn't own it to call his place.
He sighed.
"You know life sucks." He looked at her pursed lips. She took a moment to register what he was saying. She hadn't seen him here.
Like a fool, she had been bawling her eyes out in front of a stranger.
"Yeah." She sniffled.
"It's unfair and beyond expectations." He told her.

He removed his handkerchief and offered, "Keep it."
"It's alright. I have my own." She gave him a tight lipped smile.
He shrugged.
"If it makes you feel any better, I'm having a bad day too."
"I'm sorry... I don't... know what else to say." She mumbled.
"You don't have to. I was just here and then I saw you. I couldn't help myself but reach out to you. Maybe I needed someone who could hear me out too without judging me." He let out then stood up.
"I can be that person if you want to talk. Anyway this feels better than crying here alone." She chuckled and he smiled.
"What's your story?" He asked.
She narrowed her eyes, "I thought you wanted to talk."
"I do but I want to hear your first. I'm a great listener. The only quality of mine which I'm so proud of." He grinned.
"Fine but you've to promise me that you won't judge me at all."
"That's why we are doing it in the first place. No judgements." He replied.
She took a deep breath.
"So here it is..."
