Ethan says, "Now you have to fight with me." Alex responds, "Ethan, I don't want to fight with you or anyone else. I just want to go back to how I used to live." Ethan's voice remains calm and low, "You don't have a choice."Then he signals to Issac to start training. Alex walks towards Ethan, her emotions boiling over, and pushes him by the chest. "You did this to me. It's all your fault. I want to keep going to school." Ethan stands at the end of the room, his eyes fixed on Alex, as Issac runs towards him to attack. But Ethan is too quick, and he pushes Issac to another side of the room. This continues, with Issac trying to use his claws and fangs to attack Ethan, but Ethan keeps pushing him away. Ethan keeps training Issac, while Alex keeps talking to him, her voice laced with frustration. Ethan says, "You can't go to school. It's not safe." Alex shoots back, "It was safe until you showed up." Ethan throws Issac to the floor once again and says to Alex, "You touched the marble, and now all supernatural beings are looking for you." Alex defiantly says, "I don't care. I want to go to school." Ethan's expression softens slightly, "Alright, you can go to school, but I'll come with you every day." Alex protests, "You can't come with me." Ethan's eyes narrow, "Why not? You don't trust me, right? You want to go with Vinnie." Ethan takes a step closer to Alex, his face inches from hers, his eyes glowing red. "He's going to kill you. He's going to consume your blood, which will make him stronger than every supernatural being." Ethan says, "It's getting dark, all of you go home." The pack nods and starts packing their backpacks slowly, chatting among themselves. Ethan grabs Alex's hand and walks out of the warehouse, with Isaac following closely behind. As they approach the car, Isaac says, "Ethan, I think I'll drive. You look really angry." Ethan nods, his expression unchanging. Isaac gets into the driver's seat, and Ethan enters the back of the car with Alex. As they get home, they sit in the dining room, enjoying a quiet dinner. Isaac says, "Ethan, why don't Alex just go to school with me? I'll protect her." Ethan says, "You can't even control your shift, how do you want to protect the moon child?" Alex says, "He's right, we can just go to school together and I don't need protection." Ethan stands up and says to Alex, "Finish up and come to bed." Isaac says, "Goodnight, Ethan." Ethan nods, his eyes fixed on Alex. As Alex is done with dinner, she goes to the room and sees Ethan wearing just pants, no shirt. She asks him, "Why do I have to share a room with you?" Ethan, sitting on the bed, says, "Because I have to protect you." Alex asks, "But why on the same bed?" Ethan doesn't respond, looking away. Alex says, "I want my own room." Ethan says, "You can't have your own room." Alex says, "But this house is so big and there are so many rooms. What can't I have my own room?" Ethan still doesn't respond, his jaw clenched. Alex says, "Are you hiding something from me?" Ethan says, "Go to bed, Alex. You have school tomorrow and today was a long day." Alex says, "What are you hiding?" Ethan stands up and starts walking towards the corridor, his movements slow and deliberate. Alex stops him by holding his arm, her grip tight. Ethan sighs and says, "We have to be together." Alex says, "I don't understand, what do you mean we have to be together?" Ethan respond, "Because the moon bounded us together from birth." "What do you mean? Alex asks. Ethan says, "We're soulmates." Alex's eyes widen in surprise, "Soulmates? What do you mean?" Ethan's expression is serious, "The moon chose us for each other, bounded us together from birth. We're meant to be together, always." Alex's mind races, trying to process this revelation. She feels a mix of emotions: shock, confusion, and a hint of fear. And what about my freedom?" she asks, trying to understand the implications. Alex's grip on his arm tightens, Ethan replies, as for freedom, you'll have to trust me on this. We'll discuss it further in the morning." He gently pulls his arm free and heads towards the door. Alex calls out, "Ethan, wait!" But he's already gone, leaving her with more questions than answers. She looks around the room, feeling trapped and unsure of what the future holds. The only thing she knows is that her life will never be the same again. The next morning, Alex wakes up to find Ethan already dressed and sitting on the bed, watching her. She feels a sense of unease under his intense gaze. "What time is it?" she asks, trying to sound casual. "It's time for school," Ethan replies, his voice low and even. "Isaac will drive you." Alex nods and gets out of bed, trying to shake off the feeling of being trapped. She follows Ethan to the kitchen, where Isaac is already waiting with breakfast. As they eat, Alex tries to make small talk, but Ethan remains silent, his eyes fixed on her. She starts to feel like she's under a microscope. After breakfast, they head out to the car, with Isaac driving. Alex walks into school with Isaac by her side, feeling a sense of relief that Ethan isn't with them. She tries to focus on her classes, but can't shake off the feeling that Ethan is still watching her. At lunchtime, Alex and Isaac sit down in the cafeteria, chatting and laughing. But as Alex scans the room, her eyes land on a familiar figure - Ethan. He's sitting at a distance, his eyes fixed intently on her. Alex feels a shiver run down her spine. What is he doing here? And why is he watching her like that? She tries to ignore him and continue her conversation with Isaac, but she can't help sneaking glances at Ethan. Isaac notices her distraction and follows her gaze. "Don't worry about him," he says quietly. "He's just making sure you're safe." But Alex isn't so sure. She feels like Ethan's gaze is piercing through her, like he can see into her very soul. She tries to shake off the feeling, but it only intensifies as the lunch period goes on. As they finish their lunch and head back to class, Alex can't help but wonder what Ethan's true motives are. Is he really just trying to protect her, or is there something more to it? After school Issac and Alex head to the warehouse, Alex's eyes widen in horror as she sees Ethan holding Sam by the neck, their eyes glowing with an otherworldly intensity. She screams, "Let him go, Ethan!" but Ethan doesn't respond. Without hesitation, Alex runs to him, grabs his arm, and pushes him with all her might. Ethan flies across the room, hitting the wall with a loud thud. His eyes return to normal as he struggles to get up. Sam nods, still breathing heavily, and Alex rushes to his side. "Are you okay?" she asks, concern etched on her face. Sam nods again, still trying to catch his breath. Ethan stands up, his eyes flashing with anger. Alex stands her ground, her heart racing. "Do you want to kill him?" she demands. Ethan's expression softens, and he says, "Sorry, I lost control. We were training." Alex's eyes narrow. "Training? That didn't look like training to me." Ethan takes a step closer, his eyes pleading. "I swear, Alex, I didn't mean to hurt him. I'm still learning to control my powers." Alex crosses her arms, unsure if she believes him. "Learning to control your powers? By almost killing Sam?" Ethan sighs, running a hand through his hair. "I know it looks bad.
