Chapter 8

Arriving at the palace Dwayne and Lisa got out of the car and as they entered the castle an Omega rushed to meet them. She bowed slightly before Lisa and nodded towards Dwayne "Madame Lisa, sir Dwayne" she greeted them. Although he wasn't an Royal he was of Alpha blood and there was a rule in werewolf society that all Alpha bloodline must be treated with respect and honor. "Your father wants to see you". Lisa thanked the omega then carried on towards her father's office.

She knocked on the door softly before entering "Daddy you wanted to see me".

"Yes dear come in, have a seat" he said motioning towards the chair in front of his big oakwood desk. She sat wondering what on earth was so important that he was waiting for her to get back home.

"This weekend the Blood silk pack will be coming for Alpha Jake and Samantha's Monthly visit, and I want you personally to help make our geust feel at home and welcome."

"What !!!" Lisa shouted annoyed before catching herself remembering she was speaking to her Alpha and father. In a lower tone "Daddy, don't we have omegas and workers to make our honorable guest feel welcomed" she finished that last part in a sarcastic tone.

"yes dear and they will but I want to prepare an itinary and host it to make our guests' visit wonderful." he stated matter of factly

"Daddy"

"No buts Lisa as my oldest child you have a responsibilty to our pack and this is what I require of you. It's not up for debate. Now go along and start planning. I have faith that you will not disappoint me"

"Yes Daddy" Lisa says in a defeated tone, bows her head and slowly leaves his office closing the door behind her.

As she was heading to her room to find her sister Dwayne caught back up with her.

"Hey how'd it go in there why the long face" He asked

" The Bloodsilk pack" Lisa said not wanting to break her friend's heart after they worked so hard to build his faith.

"Alpha jerk is coming here ?" "When" "Does Sam know" he fired off question after question in panic. He saw the major improvement Sam has made in her attitude and was afraid being around Jake so soon would take her back into a funk. He knew Sam loved him, He knew she wanted to be with him, He knew she hated Jake and wished she could escape this dreadful marriage arrangement.

" No I don't think she knows yet and check this I'm in charge of making this jerk feel at home" Lisa pouted.

They walked solemnly to her room finding her sisters talking and bonding excitedly. seeing the girls bonding and happy put her into a deeper funk. She just knew this visit meant bad business.

The girls looked up seeing Lisa and Dwayne and excitedly greeted them. "Heeey Lee" They squealed in unison.

"Hey D" Joy smiles doing their famous handshake. She looks to her sister and blushes

"Hi Dwayne" Sam says shyly with her hands folded in front of her.

Dwayne so overcome with the emotions of the news grabs Sam into a hug He instantly feels at peace, and Sam instantly feels at peace releasing the breath she didn't realize she'd been holding. The room fell silent nobody wanting to ruin their moment for their own reasons. Lisa and dwayne knowing Jake would be coming over soon, Joy and Sam just knowing the peace of Sam being in the arms of her Destined Mate.

Lisa not wanting to kill the vibe had to tell her sister Her betrothed jerk would be arriving in the next few days. She cleared her throat

"Sam don't be upset but..... I have something to tell you"

"I know Lee, I read D's mind accidently" Sam said sadly

Dwayne pulled away lookinging at Sam in amazement "wow, this girl is amazing" he thought

"She is, right " Joy said winking and laughing

"Okay, so both of you can teleport, and have telepathy" Lisa said smiling "We need to go to the library "

Lisa ordered the Alpha's library to be closed for the next few hours under the guise of preparing the itinery for the visit.

The workers happily obliged

In The Library

Lisa pulls a book from the bottom of the bookshelf and dusts it off. It was an old book full of anciet prophecies. The prophecies were about these 2 special wolves who would walk in anciet powers to save the land from darkness. It spoke about an evil empire that would arise and take over the packs with special abilities. A tyrant would be born and would marry into the bloodline of the special blessed wolves activating his powers upon completion of the mating and marking process uniting the two packs into one.

The tyrant would band the use of powers only allowig himself to draw from their powers combined with his own to make himself the strongest wolf ever. The 2 special wolves would come of age before this happens and must train and master their gifts, and complete the mating process with their predestined mates to stop the evil from taking over the kingdom.

"wait Oh my gosh" Sam gasped holding her mouth "Lee I think Me & Joy Joy are the wolves from this prophecy" Sam said trembling.

"And The Tyrant is Alpha Jake" Joy finished crying tears of bitterness and fear.

"We Can't let this happen" Dwayne added "We must find Joy's mate but how"

"uumm Guys " Joy said "I have a secret I've been keeping from you"

Lisa was completely shocked at the thought that Joy had a secret she didn't know. Everyone turned to look at Joy holding their breaths.

"I uummm I think i know who my mate is" Joy said shyly

"What ? How ? Who" everyone fired question after question completely taken back by Joy's sudden confession.

"You guys won't believe it because it sounds crazy"

"Really Joy after the day we've had is anything really unbelievable at this point" Sam retorts snarky

"Okay Okay I'll tell you but I'm a little embarassed " joy said tucking that same strand of hair behind her ear.

"Joy we're here with you and for you, just tell us Sis" Sam hugs Joy offering her a safe warm embrace.

"I think I created a world where me and my mate meets up when things get tough for me. When I'm sad I go to sleep and dream about him but it's different from any other dream. It feels so real and It works like a telephone. I can call him when i want to and he can call me too. I havn't called him in a while because one day he called me but he brought this other shewolf with him and she tried to takeover my world. So whenever he calls i run away and let them enjoy each other's company." Joy explained with tears running down her eyes.

Everyone was so taken aback by this whole confession. It surely explains alot, No wonder Joy's music had so much passion She did know what love and pain felt like.

Sam instantly wrapped her arms around Joy weeping silently with her sister. " Joy I'm so sorry, I didn't know you were going through all of that and alone too. I thought you were perfect, I thought you had no pain or worries. Now I know why you stay in your head so much Oh my gosh I wish I had known"

"I thought it was just a dream, it was crazy to me " Joy responded wiping her eyes " I felt trapped and I didn't know how to get out"

"Joy don't worry, We'll help you find him" Dwayne spoke holding back his own tears

"It's not that simple. I know where he is but If all of this wasn't just a dream than the shewolf who tried to takeover my world is real too and I think they've mated".
