Chapter 7

Joy and Samantha were sitting in Lisa's room still shell shocked from that weird experience.

"Hey, uumm what I'm about to say is kinda hard for me, So I'm just gonna say it but I need you to not respond or react with all your mushy stuff until i finish. Please don't make me regret this" Sam said to joy as she braced herself to open up to her baby sister.

Joy looked at Sam a little anxious but holding her composture to hear Sam express herself, something she's wanted her whole life.

"Okay Joy I'm sorry I know I havn't been the nicest big sister to you please forgive me" Sam started to cry. "Before you were born I had Lisa all to myself, when mom and dad were busy running the pack Lisa was my person, and once you were born it was like you took her away from me. I hated you, I didn't want to share my person with you. As we grew older I noticed your gifts, your voice is like the voice an angel, the way you create music you have no idea what you're singing about yet it fits and empacts the life of whoever hears it. You're so shy, reserved, humble, and loving but when you sing it's like you're singing to God himself or for him and I hated it. I hated it because I don't know what my talents are, I don't believe I'm good at anything. I'm scared that you'll go off being successful and I'll be trapped in a loveless marriage to Alpha jerk hating my life. I love you Joy and I'm so happy to have atleast one burden lifted off of my shoulders and together is a happy place to be. I just hate that I didn't discover this sooner." She finished completely wrecked.

She wiped her eyes and finally looked up at her sister to see her silently crying her eyes out. She had no idea Sam was dealing with so much pain and heartache. She felt guilty for being able to still smile and love during her pain while her big sister suffered in silence. The truth is not even Joan knew the depths of Sam's pain. She mostly held it all inside using hatred and being mean as a mask to protect herself.

Speaking of Joan she mind linked Sam " Hey sissy where are you ? Why arent you and Joy in School ? I thought you guys were supposed to start today."

"Girl I got so much to tell you when you get home" Sam smiled wiping her eyes.

"Okay. sounds really deep I'll come straight to your quarters when I get out. I Love you" Joan replied

"I Love You Too Joan" Sam said before cutting the link.

"That was Joan" Sam told Joy as she refocused after the brief interruption

"I figured that" Joy laughed lightly trying to lighten the mood in the room. " Sam I'm so sorry you were going through all of that I never knew. I'm sorry I didn't try harder to be there for you."

"Honestly Joy you did nothing wrong, Even if you would've tried, I would've just shut you out more" Sam Laughed feeling relieved to get that off her chest.

"Can I ask you a question ?" Joy treaded lightly not wanting to trigger her sister back into her head and ruin the moment.

"Sure Joy Joy what is it"

"Why now ? What changed" Joy asked curiously

Sam zoned out briefly thoughts shifting to Dwayne. She smile and replied " I've always had a crush on Dwayne but the other day when we went to the mall I was in my thoughts thinking about my life, listening to your song and got sad. Dwayne came to check on me and I felt something I've never felt before like a spark or something I don't know how to explain it"

"Oh My gosh Sam Do You think that "

"Joy stop it that's impossible, I'm already betrothed to you know who"

"yeah Sam but betrothed isn't Destined mate"

"Joy I don't want to get my hopes up, Even if he is, how, our parents already made arrangements with the Blood Silk pack, and They would never approve he's just the driver"

"Sam What God joins together let no man put asunder, meaning what's meant to be will be because he will make it happen just have faith"

"I hope you're right because i would die being married to that jerk" They both laughed at that. He really was a jerk and nobody from the Silverback pack liked his wicked evil behind.

Just then An Omega entered the room with an envelope in hand addressed to someone. She bowed into a curtsey in front of the sisters handing Joy the envelope with her name on it “Lady Joy Natalie Soaks of Silverback Pack”. Wondering what could be inside the package, She nervously stared at the envelope.

As she opened the sealed envelope staring at the contents in shock, Someone had registered her for The She Reigns pageant & in the envelope was her completed registration package.

Joy jumps back trembling dropping the envelope and the contents inside as Sam looked on in confusion.

'What's going on with Joy' she thought to herself. She looked at the registration package on the floor ' what the heck' 'Joy didn't register for the pageant, Who would do such a thing without her consent'.

Joy looked at Sam confused, "I was wondering the samething Sam" Joy said deflated and nervous

"Wait Huh" " You were wondering what ? You heard me ? How?"

" You didn't mind link me ?" Joy asked Sam looking freaked out

"No" Sam said freaked out too "I was just thinking to myself"

Joy stood frozen looking at her sister while Sam stood frozen doing the same. 'How the heck did she hear my thoughts.'

"I don't know but I'm sure Lisa will help us when she gets here." Joy said hopefully

Suddenly a giant bright white werewolf appeared in the room and both the girls could see him. His aura was extremely powerful and his light was extremely bright commanding attention and surrender.

"Joy Joy are you seeing what I'm seeing" Sam asked trembling

"Yeah and I think it's God, I've seen him in my dreams before and this weird wolf looks and feels just like him." Joy replied in Amazement.

God chuckled "Hi Sam", "Hi Joy" God spoke in a deep booming voice that shook the palace. Both girls dropped to their knees looking on in Amazement and disbelief.

You girls have just unlocked 2 of your secret gifts and there's more to come, Love covers a multitude. Be strong and courageous don't be afraid I'm with you. I've always been with you. You're gonna work together as a team with your mates, Using your gifts to defeat the darkness that is coming upon the land. Sam experiencing Love have unlocked your ability to teleport and communicate with each other using telepathy. your destinys are intertwined. don't let anything come in between the love you two share.

"Okay this day is getting weirder by the second" Says Sam "I think I need a nap.

In The Car as Dwayne and Lisa were headed back to the pack grounds Dwayne felt a mixture of emotions. He soon realized that it was coming from Sam "Lisa We gotta hurry back, Something is going on with Sam and I don't know what it is."

"Okay D Calm down, Sam is alright, you don't want to crash before we can get there" Lisa replied

Dwayne focused on the road swerving in and out of the cars trying to beat that 4pm traffic to get to his woman.

Lisa looked on at him laughing to herself Yeah He's the perfect mate for her baby sister.

She whispered a silent prayer hoping God can hear her " God if you can hear me please help Sam and Dwayne, They are absolutely perfect for each other.
