Chapter SixteenLynn parked Henry's old Blazer four blocks from her townhouse and began to make her way through the dark streets, grateful that the neighborhood had few streetlights. When she was a block from home, Lynn climbed the fence and lowered herself into the back yard of the house that backed up to Henry's. Darkness was gradually giving way to light, and Lynn guessed that she was less than a half-hour from sunrise. As she made her way across the yard, Lynn heard a noise from the townhouse, whose sliding doors were now only ten feet from her. A light came on inside.
