Eliza’s POV:
Once lunch was over and the trampoline was ordered, everyone went their own way, except for Alexia, who stayed with me. Even though I didn’t do much, exhaustion was setting in.
“Can you come and play with me, Liz?” asked Alexia.
“Sorry, honey, I’m feeling a little tired. You can go play while I take a moment to rest my eyes.” I offered her.
I felt exhausted and knew I had to give in, even though I could see the disappointment in her eyes.
She left, disappointedly agreeing with an “Okay.”
