Chapter 22
Zoë’s POV:
The night before the ceremony
Alex and I walked back to the pack house after we cleaned up at Eliza’s house. Alex had wrapped his arm around me.
“That was strange, wasn’t it?” I asked Alex, looking up at him a little. Alex kept looking ahead, as if he was in thought.
“Yeah, a little,” he said, without going into further detail.
“Zoë, do you want pups?” he suddenly asked.
I immediately stopped walking, causing Alex to come to an abrupt stop. “Don’t you?” was my reaction.
Alex sighed, “Yeah, I don’t know. You’re still so young and after all that story with Liz. I just haven’t thought about it that much, I guess, until Anna told us tonight she’s pregnant,” he explained.
