Without waiting anymore second, the electric guy released another powerful strike. The hooded guy tried to blast Lumence again but he is just too fast that he easily jerked away from the attack.

I cannot believe what I am seeing. Lumence is... he seems so strong now. I can feel it in their presence earlier but witnessing it now, how he manages to dodge the offense of his enemies and how he was also able to launch his own--it's just unbelievable. I know that they are really strong... even before. But today, it is just on another level. I wonder if Gamence also amazingly improve in combat like his twin.

My train of thoughts were cut out when another loud explosion reverberated. Smoke filled the deserted road as the two figures continuously fight for dominance. The electric Pikachu guy took another offensive step by sending another earl-splitting electrocution towards Lumence.

Sensing the attack, Lumence instantly flick his fingers in the air and as he did that, rocks in every corner of the road floated and glide their way towards him as if being summoned by their master. Every pieces of rocks formed a solid shield in front of him just in the time to defend himself from being assailed by his opponent.

The rocks in the air exploded one by one like a domino... fragmenting in the air. I covered my face using my hands when tiny debris made its way to my direction.

Thick smoke from the explosion covered the surroundings that it was hard to see what was happening and Lumence did not waste anymore time to attack. His movement was blindingly fast, using the suffocating smoke to his own advantage. He hopped and jumped so fast as he plunges deep into the hazy road... cutting through it with his sharp movements. He raised his hand, firmly clenching his silver dagger before forcefully thrusting it towards his opponent but the hooded guy, dodge it in time, however Lumence's sudden offense still caught him off guard causing him to fall out of balance after dodging the attack.

Lumence took advantage of that. He tightly held his silver dagger again as he propelled himself to land another attack at the electric guy. The hooded guy's reaction time seemed to faltered due to Lumence prior attack so it was too late when he tried to jerk away from Lumence's charge. Athough he tried to evade it, Lumence still did slashed his face. The guy's hood fell exposing the mysterious face behind it.

The guy's right cheek was bleeding due to Lumence's attack. His eyes, which are now exposed, radiates raw emotion: hatred. He silently wiped his bleeding face with his fingers.

"Sorry to damage your flawless skin, bruh. It be like that sometimes." Lumence mocked as he held his hands in the air again, his fingers gesturing something to come to him again. Then another batch of rocks floated in the air and glided towards him. They spread out around Lumence, stilled in the air as if sentinels diligently guarding a fort.

"Why don't we end this childish play and just start talking like matured adults?" Lumence offered. His voice laced with mockery combined with fierce tenacity.

But his opponent doesn't seem happy at all. His lips are in a grim line and his eyes are filled with controlled rage. Threads of bluish electricity danced on his two hands again, threatening to be released and blast Lumence away.

I squinted my eyes when I noticed something again. It seems strange, could it be...

Before Lumence could say any mocking statements again, the electric guy released one powerful attack towards him again. The electricity directly hit the rocks around Lumence creating a loud explosion again and causing him to be pushed backwards. All the lights from the lamp posts flickered in another familiar on and off game. As if it was manifesting an ominous presence.

I caught the silhouette of the electric guy stealthily jumping away from the explosion he caused. He was fast alright, but something about his movements tells me that he is just new to these kind of things. Despite his immeasurable speed, I can sense that he is getting exhausted. He is at the peak of his endurance.

He vaulted towards a nearby utility pole, climbing it with precise movements until he reached the top most part of it, casually holding one of the cable as he balanced himself.

He settled himself on top of the pole as he gaze menacingly at us. Like a royalty staring down to peasants.

Meanwhile; Lumence just watched his opponent quietly, probably waiting for a perfect opportunity to pounce him or something.

Damn it. Despite his faltering stamina, that Pikachu guy still manage to climb that utility pole as if it was a piece of cake. He knows that Lumence would not do desperate tactics just to reach him there. Based from my analysis on their combat earlier, Lumence is limiting his attacks so he can minimize the damage he can cause. We may be on a deserted road and it is already dark but when the morning comes, the authorities and other civilians will surely notice the wreckage we caused in this place. Well, it is that Pikachu guy's fault. He just would not hold back his attacks, like he doesn't care if this whole place will be reduced into dusts with his electric explosions.

The guy remained on top of the pole, his left hand gently gripping on one of the cables, his other hand boredly dangles on his side. At first I thought he is just watching us, waiting for a perfect timing to flee since his body is at its limits. However, it was obviously not the case for him because he slightly raised his free hand in the air. My senses told me that something bad will about to happen. I firmly grip my motorcycle as the tension in the air started to thicken again.
