Chapter Eleven (Part 2) Zephyre's expression lightened in delight as she witness my anguished disposition. She's not satisfied yet, though. I was caught off guard when the invisible force that knocked me in the air suddenly vanished, I felt a fleeting sensation on my chest as if a heavy thing has been lifted up from me when I was freed from that levitating skill that binds me but only to feel my body helplessly falling flat on the floor. I drastically fell straight on the shattered glass container that I tried to clean up earlier. Every sharp shards of glass impaled the skin on my back as my body hit the floor unwillingly. All the tiny pieces of that broken glass felt like thousands of knives simultaneously piercing and penetrating into my flesh, like a sword buried deep within me. "f**k!" I screamed in pain and the thunders seems to sympathize with as they roared in synchronicity of my cries. I coughed another batch of blood when Zephyre ruthlessly stepped on my stomach. Her foot stayed there as her purple eyes glimmer in delectation and her mouth twisted in a familiar irritating b***h of a smirk. Meanwhile, the Pikachu guys just quietly walked beside Zephyre, his hand still nesting the dancing threads of bluish electricity. Both are looking at me like I am the biggest loser in town. "Oh, Arylle. I did not mean to make this reunion a bit harsh. It's your fault, tho. I guess all the years we were all apart taught you aggression." She mercilessly pinned me deeper on the floor using her foot. I screamed in pain again as I felt the shards of glass penetrated deeper into my skin. "All I want is a harmless girl-talk, you know? Didn't you miss me, anyway?" She asked in a voice dripping with sarcasm. "f**k you..." I answer while gurgling in my own blood. I earned a brutal kick for that. I once again cough more blood as my back also bleeds more blood. I am basically lying on a floor filled with my blood. "Great. You did not changed a thing. You still dislike me, huh?" She asked rhetorically. "W-what the f**k do you want with me?" I could not almost articulate each words due to the intense pain I am feeling in every parts of my body. The evil b***h smirked more with my question. Damn, can I just kill her for a second? "Y-you f*****g traitor--" I coughed, and I'm sure it's blood that's flowing out of my lips as of the moment. "--s-stop smirking a-and tell me your r-reasons!" She laughed a bit as if she heard something preposterous from me. Well between the two of us, she's the one with a load of crap. "What? Traitor? Wow. How can you say that when there wasn't an alliance from the very beginning?" She said before her lips curved into a devilish smile. She removed her foot on my stomach before turning her gaze at the mysterious guy beside her. She gestured something I did not understand to him and the guy just nodded. Then the Pikachu guy flick his fingers and the power supply in our house came back at once. I knew it... this guy really should stop messing with this town's electricity. As the lights returned, I am able to see Zephyres face clearer--which I despise. The strangle mark on her neck is still noticeable and I can't help but to smirk internally. She gaze at me while I remained lying on the cold floor filled with my blood. She gracefully squatted beside me. On the other hand, the Pikachu guy is just harmlessly standing a few meters away from us. He is not making a sound or whatsoever. So I gathered all my focus to Zephyre who looks like a delighted Psychopath right now. However, her devilish smirk transformed into an angelic smile. I would almost believe if I did not know how treacherous those purple eyes of hers are. Her eyes are filled with mock serenity like she did not put me in this bloody situation at all! b***h please. Despite the new wave of irritation surging in me, I still choose to lie still and feel the inexplicable sting on my back. But still, I focused my attention to this girl kneeling beside me. "You called a traitor earlier, Ryz." She called me using my nickname. I suddenly want to puke blood. "Now tell me... how can you call someone a traitor when there was never been an alliance from the very beginning?" Why does this b***h keeps on repeating her phrases? "The project that once intersected our path is now nothing but a piece of crumbling memory. She caressed my hair like a concerned mom. I suddenly want to rip her organs apart but stopped myself. I need to hear more from her. "Project: Lotus has met its shameful end years ago, if you failed to remember that." She said in a voice laced with sarcasm. I felt the surge bitterness in her every word. She suddenly stopped caressing my hair. She put her palms on her knees instead. I stared at her sharply. "Oh wait, you can never really be sure of the things you can remember, anyway." She whispered her last sentence that I could barely hear it. I creased my forehead. What does she mean by that? "Now speaking of alliance, Ryz..." Her voice is suddenly hinted with enthusiasm. "I actually came here not to beat you up but to make a proposition." He turned his gaze at the tiny drop of my blood on his finger. "Because I let it happen..." he answered, his voice barely a whisper. "What?" The hell. This guy is a living puzzle. He keeps on talking in fragments that I can't understanding what he's talking about. He stood up and stared at me again. He calmly walked towards me before stopping a few meters away from where I am standing. His eyes are as blank as a starless night and even way colder than a frozen water. "I was there all the time. Watching them, watching you. I watched it all happened."
