Vampire Deal

3. Murder

    "So you are telling me that the stubborn oldies approved your plan?" asked my 18 years younger sister Lilith. Jones from the sofa in the living room. I just nodded at her question moving towards the kitchen to prepare myself something.

   "I still can't believe that council approved this plan. I can assure you that that old, stubborn, egoistic Lucifer would never agree along with his dragon shifter friend, Salvador. Carrera. I guess White Wizard, Wizard Minas. Paulo and Dark Witch Dilma. Filho would back this idea." Said the only daughter of Beta Arnold. 

    "Even I had thought it to be that way, but I was totally wrong. When I proposed my plan, of course, Lord Lucifer strongly rejected it and called it delusional. Even the Dark Witch Dilma agreed with Lord Lucifer. I thought my idea would be rejected and my other plans will be ruined." I said as I took a bowl to prepare curry for the rice.

    "Then tell us what happened next!. " Irritation was is clearly seen in April's voice, the daughter of Beta Arnold. I sighed thinking these both will never let me cook food till I give them the details. "Hell broke loose when I said my idea, Lord Lucifer and Alpha Nathan would have ripped each other's throat. The situation turned brutal when Dark witch Dilma intervened saying she can wipe off every werewolf." I shook my head to remove that horrible image where Witch Dilma had a wand and threatened Alpha Nathan.

    "If Sir Alfasno has not threatened them then there definitely would be a war. So Sir Alfasno went with voting. Of course, Witch Dilma and Lord Lucifer didn't support whereas Alpha Nathan and Wizard Minas supported me." I said cutting the potato.

    "What surprised me was, Dragon Shifter, Duke Salvador gave a NOTA, so this situation led Sir Alfasno to vote and guess what?! he really liked my idea I think, so he gave his support to me. Sir Alfasno announced me as one of the members of the council as humans will also gain their rights. To represent them I was the one who they chose." I said as I finished cutting potatoes.

    "Wooooooooooow" both the girls said hearing whole story. "Congrats Letty, finally the training of being with us came into use." I took a long sigh to tolerate the narcissistic behavior of April. She may be 17 but she is one hell of a girl.

    "What are you thinking?" I could hear April asking Lilith from the living room as I moved to the kitchen to make the curry. "I think the rumor of Duke Salvadore and Lord Lucifer having a tiff is true." Lilith's words caught my attention. 

    "What are you saying? that damn Duke and Lord are having a tiff. They are like friendship goals for many people!" April is so loud I just wish my neighbor from the right will not come and scold. "Will you stop screaming?! From god's grace, I have fully functioning good ears." I could hear Lilith bickering with April about being loud.

NIGHT

    I heard the ringing of my phone. I looked at the time which showed 1:00 am. I reached my phone removing the hair which was on my eyes. "Hello?" I said still in my sleepy voice. "Am I speaking to Miss. Scarlett. Jones?" I head a male voice.

    "Yes, may I know who am I speaking to?" I asked getting up from the bed. "Hello Miss, I am secretary of Sir. Alfasno, he wanted to speak with you." I could hear the shuffling. "Hello, Miss Scarlett." Sir Alfasno said. "Hello, Sir. Alfasno, what can I do for you?" I asked still wondering the need to call at this hour.

    "Sorry to disturb you. I along with Lord Lucifer have been to the graveyard for some work and Lord Lucifer's wife Lordess Matarella was sounding really unusual. Can you please check on her?" He asked. Why would he ask me of all people? 

    "Definitely sir, can you send me the address?" I said searching my slippers to get ready. I could take Lilith with me. "I will forward it to you your phone," he said and hung up. I don't know if Lilith likes to leave her sleep and come along with me.

Valween Colony

    I never thought the vampire colonies were so magnificent. I felt like I was entering very rich colonies as there were only mansions at either side and each mansion had a unique architecture. I couldn't see the color of the house, but even then the light from moonlight was enough to get the outline. 

    "Wooooooooow" both the girls said appreciating the colony. I thought I was only taking Lilith, but I was surprised when April was with Lilith in her bed. When I asked what was she doing, she told me that she was having a sleepover.

    "Mam we have reached the destination." I nodded at the omega driver. I turned to open the gates of the mansion, but what surprised me was the gates were already open. I quickly called Sir. Alfasno. "Sir. Alfasno please come as soon as possible I feel something is not right." I said.

    "I don't know really, but mansion gates are open and I am unable to see the security guard. " I said and held my phone such that Sir. Alfasno could not hear my voice. "You two be here" I ordered them and went inside to inspect.

    "Miss. Jones be careful. Please wait outside the mansion." he was instructing something and I could hear Lord. Lucifer's voice. "Sorry sir, I am already inside the mansion and I can smell blood." Now I was really scared, who knows which vampire is feeding on any human.

    Bile rose as I thought it. I controlled it and moved further to the living room. I could only see darkness, I could no longer hear Sir. Alfasno. I tried connecting, but the signal strength was 0 so I switched on the torch in my cell to know what really happened. 

    One second I was standing another second I saw dark blue eyes, who wore a black cloak in front of me. I screamed as loud as possible seeing the ghost-like man. Next, I know was something hit my head and I lost the conscious. 

    "Wake up!" I got up suddenly breathing heavily. I looked around to see the lights were on and Lilith, April stood in front me worried. I looked at Sir. Alfasno was stoping Lord Lucifer who was going crazy. I looked at the direction Lord Lucifer was growling only to stop myself from puking.

    It was a horrible sight, two women lay dead with blood all around them. One woman had all her liver outside her body and another woman's heart was outside the body which was cut in 4 pieces with one piece crushed.

    I instantly put my hand on my mouth to prevent myself. I looked at the wall where a baby was held by Lord and Lordess. My eyes widened realizing that the baby is missing. "April can you sniff a baby here? Because I think there is some missing family member." she nodded and started sniffing around.

    April had turned in to a beautiful brown wolf with emerald eyes during her 16th birthday. Before turning she was chubby and curvy, after turning her whole physique changed drastically. In just 3 months, she was lean like a model, and her skin would turn wheat color in sunlight, but couldn't recognize it until we observe her keenly.

    She was moving towards a shoe rack placed near the door. I opened the rack when I heard a sob of a little girl holding the baby near her heart. I tried calling her and used various sweet words, but she would just close her eyes and would tighten the hold on the baby.

    I saw the baby sleeping there peacefully as if there is nothing going on. I could see the blood trickling down the forehead of the girl and also from her back. I was about to try something else when Lord Lucifer came gently moving me.

    "Chole" Lord Lucifer called and the little girl who looked at Lord Lucifer. She didn't wait for a second when she launched along with the baby on Lord. Chole was sobbing continuously on Lord who held her tightly saying sweet words and at the same time, the baby opened its eyes.

    What the hell happened here?
