Chapter 1
The sound of loud music echoed in the room filled with bright neon lights. In the corner of the counter, sitting alone, is a girl with curly blonde hair. She keeps ordering the same cocktail mix and 10 empty glasses are already in front of her. She's wasted.
Keila Forger ran her delicate fingers to her hair and sighed again. After a break up, she went into this bar to waste a month of her earnings on liquor to drown her aching heart.
Seven years! She exclaimed to herself. They were in a relationship for seven years and yet his man chose another girl instead of her, blaming the word 'responsibility'.
To make the record straight, he's not qualified to use that word. Responsibility on his face! He even neglected his responsibilities as a loyal boyfriend to her.
Just like that and she drowned herself into the strong scent of heavy liquor that runs hot in her mouth when gulped.
--------
"Hmm?" Keila tried to opened her eyes several times when the bright rays of morning sun hit her sleeping face and her long lashes fluttered like butterfly wings in the air.
"Already up?" A man beside her asked her as he pulled her back under the sheets. He planted a soft kiss on her shoulder and hugged Keila with his naked body.
Wait. Hold up!
She doesn't know what kind of lustful demon pushed her to do whatever she did last night but this is insane. On her right is the man who asked her if she's already up but on the other side is another man that's sleeping silently while holding her hand.
Bullsh*t.
What kind of mess is this?
"You're quite energetic this early in the morning. I could now vaguely guess how you can handle both of us."
Keila's face turned red in color as heat rose in her head. Her shame took over her because the man beside her that's giving her shoulder small kisses since earlier is someone she knows. His voice is so familiar yet she failed to recognize him earlier. Different from his usual style in the office where his hair is always combed sideways to reveal half of his forehead, his hair right now looked like a curly mess similar to a bird's nest. But it does not change the fact that his face is handsome. That cheat face that doesn't even have a single scar from acne is something someone should be envious of.
"Hush, don't move too much if you don't want to wake up Caspian," he whispered behind her earlobes that tickled Keila. He buried his face in between her neck and shoulders again that made Keila flinch.
"S-sir?"
Aiden Castellan looked at the girl lying beside him and smelled the floral scented locks of her hair that touched his face. He's incredibly shocked last night to see how wild his employee, Keila Forger, can be. Drunk with a little consciousness with her, she approached their table and hugged Caspian, tracing the lines of his arms with his fingers. "Hey," she said in her sultry voice while letting her hand travel along Caspian's torso that's busy drinking his pint of beer. "Are you free tonight? Want to sleep with me?"
Caspian gave her a puzzled look but as soon as he pushed the girl away from him, Keila landed coquettishly on her other side which happened to be him. "What about you? We can even do it together. All of us...three."
The plan is only to take her to a hotel room and leave afterwards but she's like someone drowning in lust at that moment. She did not let go of Aiden who put her down and wrapped his body with her arms and legs and kissed him softly on his lips.
That's when things went wrong and how the three of them ended in that mess.
"Sir...wait," Keila felt butterfly wings expanding in her stomach when she felt Aiden's breath in her skin. "Wait, let me go!"
She hurriedly grabbed the nearest clothing to her and ran away from the scene where traces of her lustful night can be seen. She can't believe how she ended up like that.
"Miss Forger!"
Aiden also rose up from the bed and wore his underwear to go after Keila. He knocked on the bathroom where she locked herself and called out her name. "Miss Forger."
"I...I'm sorry," she said apologetically.
"Ah, fine." Aide gave up. "I'll pick your things around so you can fix yourself then let's talk afterwards." He knocked again when Keila did not answer. "Is that okay, Miss Forger?"
"Uhm, yes." Keila said while nodding her head even though there's no need to since the other person is behind the door. Outside of the space she's in right now.
Aiden knocked at the bathroom door for the third time. On his hands were Keila's dress last night, her purse and underwear. "Miss Forger, your order's here."
Keila frowned. She doesn't get what game her boss is playing right now so she did not answer his call again and played deaf.
"I have here your red dress, black pouch and pink panties with your lace—"
Aiden's teasing was halted when the bathroom door creaked and Keila showed half of her face. She's pouting while opening her palm in front of him to get the things he collected. "Give me that."
He chuckled and gave her the items he mentioned. "Should I wake Caspian up?"
"No!"
Her face flushed red inside that bathroom as she wore her bra when Aiden proposed to wake up the third party in last night's incident. Just, no! She can't handle it yet. Sleeping with her boss alone is already over the top and she can barely hold her head high, what more if there's another one to see her in her current bewildered state. Forget the hangover! She has no time to think about her beating headache if her pride is on the line. She needs to flee. Get out of that place. Get out of their lives and hide somewhere secluded.
To forget everything that happened last night.
