Rejection

Alicia POV

As I started running from the school all I could do was cry. When Dad told me what happened that night I couldn’t believe it. That makes me a monster as much as he was. I will never be able to look at or face that girl again. Then the look on Mom’s face; her being a victim of rape herself she couldn’t believe I could do this to someone. Dad looked at me with disgust and hatred, and so did my siblings, even Samantha. I knew Samantha would never go along with that plan so I always used to tell her I was “going out” She would take that as code that Todd was coming in and we would go and make out. Todd’s pack was a little north of the school, it wasn’t far to run to their borders. I ran in human form Nova would be recognized and I still have the masking spell.

After a few hours of running, I saw a clearing as I was running. I knew I would have to get through it fast. The dragons are everywhere looking for Todd and by now me. By now everyone knows I’m gone.

I almost get to the other side of the clearing to go back into the forest when I’m hit with the most delicious smell. The next thing I knew I was being tackled to the ground.

“Are you f*****g kidding me.” He shouted I haven’t even seen who it was yet but I know and used to love that voice.

I managed to get to my feet tears in my eyes. “You’re my mate.” I manage to choke out.

Todd grabs me by the throat. “Don’t you ever say that again?” He growled. “You will never be my mate you fat pig. I’m going to lose my position because of you.”

After what Todd put me through I don’t want to be his mate but his words are still hurtful. “His wolf is as big of a jackass as he is,” Nova growled.

“ Not you what the f**k was the moon goddess thinking. Why would she put me with an ugly fat pig like you.” Todd bellowed. “What’s your full name.” I knew the rejection was coming but how do I tell him my name without him knowing who I am?

“I have the same name as your princess.” I stumbled out. “My mom was so enamoured with the king and queen that she named us the same names as the king and queen's children. That’s why I go by Nova.” I came up with the best lie I could think of.

“Obviously your mother is a freak too. So your name is Alicia Rossi?” Todd questioned.

I nodded my head. “Yes.”

“I Todd Jones future alpha of Moon River reject you Alicia Rossi as my mate and Luna.” He shouted. Even though I didn’t want him anymore the pain brought me to my knees.

Then he picks me up and pins me to a tree, arm across my throat. “Accept it.” He growls.

I try to breathe but he has my airway cut off I start to feel dizzy. He takes the hand not on my throat, strokes my face and eases the pressure so I can breathe. Then he gets a sly look on his face. “Well maybe not so fast.” Now I’m pinned between his body and the tree. They say s*x with your mate is phenomenal.” He pressed his bulge against me.

In a low voice, I say. “Please don’t, If you don’t want me let me keep my virginity intact for someone who does.”

“Did I hear you right did you say you were a virgin? Well, this will make it so much better.” Todd grinned.

“Please no.”I pleaded. But he didn’t listen he was ripping at my pants to get them off. He then took his claw splitting them in the fork, and both legs just dropped to my feet. He undid his own pants. Ripped off my underwear; but then threw me to the ground.

“What the hell do you think you are doing?” I hear Samantha yell. Oh, thank the heavens she found me but now she looked like her.

“Finally the moon goddess got something right.” Todd smiled at Samantha. “My Princess, my Queen.” He tries to hold her hand and Samantha pulls away.

“Are you f*****g kidding me,” Samantha screams at him. “You were just about to rape this girl.”

“It wasn’t like that baby she wanted me but wanted it rough that’s all. The moon goddess made this thing here my mate. I rejected her but she begged me for sex.” Todd trying to convince Samantha. “As soon as I smelled you I stopped my strawberry shortcake.”

“Do you really think I was that stupid? I could hear as I was running through the forest you disgusting filthy man.” Samantha spat.

“Please baby you are my mate we can work it out.” He’s near begging her.

“I’m about to rectify that.” She growled. “I Samantha Moria Rossi Princess to the Kingdom and future Queen reject you Todd Jones future alpha of Moonstone pack.”

Todd hit the ground clutching his chest, Samantha came running to me picking me up off the ground. Now hugging me. “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry I didn’t get here sooner.” Tears in her eyes stroking my hair.

“You can’t reject me; I won’t accept.” Todd trying to get the words out through the pain.

“I guess your wolf hasn’t told you.” She laughed. “See me being who I am; you know demigod, granddaughter of Zeus, great great granddaughter of Helios, don’t forget great great great niece of Selene and Eos. Let’s not forget niece to half the gods and goddesses. I don’t need you to accept we have the power to break the bond ourselves.”

“Who’s we?” Todd choked out.

With that, I could feel I was changing back to the way I look but I could feel it was only temporary.

Todd was wide-eyed. “Alicia baby please I love you, you know I love you.”

I stand tall. “I Alicia Angela Lilly Rossi accept your rejection Todd Jones future alpha of Moon Stone pack.”

“No,” Todd called out as he hit the ground again.

“Come on Lich Uncle Koa is on the way to get him. Let’s go home.” Samantha put her arm around me and started walking I stayed still. “Come home with me Alicia.”

I shook my head I know I don’t have much time before I change back. I opened a portal and jumped through it. When the portal closed I looked the way I did with the masking spell. All my powers gone my duffel bag at my side and my torn pants still on. I grab the bag and change my pants. I look around I’m in a forest where I don’t know but this is the start of figuring out my life.

Samantha POV.

The next time Auntie Selene comes around I’m going to give her a piece of my mind, mating me to that piece of s**t. If I wouldn’t have got there when I did he would have raped my sister. I link Mom and Dad to my location so they can get Todd. He needs to go to jail for a very long time. First, this was only about his fitness of being an alpha, now this puts it on a whole new level from bullying to rape.

All of a sudden I can feel myself going back to the mask form. I was holding Todd with magic and I could feel it going, s**t I know I haven’t atoned for my sins but just a couple more minutes.

“Joy.” Todd started talking to my wolf. He knew even after rejecting him my wolf would have a soft spot for him. I could see his wolf coming forward. “Joy baby please let us go so we can become the wolf you deserve, to become a better man and someone worthy of being your mate. We can reverse the rejection just let me go and I will come back to you better than I ever was.”

I could feel Joy’s resolve slipping she was growling and whimpering at the same time. “Joy are you serious.” I snap at her.

“You don’t understand it’s hard to resist even though the bond is broken he knows that calling out for me will pull on my heartstrings and want to take him back. But it’s also not going to happen I would take a chosen mate than him but this now is psychological. I know you don’t understand it and since you are a bit of every creature it’s harder. Just because Mom blocked out the fae, vampire and witch parts doesn’t mean I don’t feel it and they don’t feel the pain of the rejection also.” Joy explains.

With that Mom and Dad come through the portal, Koa and Ria now flying in. Dad grabs him. “Where do you think you're going?” Dad asked well I guess it was rhetorical.

“ I was talking with my mate sir.” Todd looks at Dad and then at me.

“Is he your mate?” Mom looked at me puzzled.

“He WAS my mate.” I made sure the was was pronounced so as to know I rejected him.

By now Koa was down and had Todd in silver cuffs. Dad comes over. “You rejected your mate?” Dad had kind of a twisted look on his face. He believes the mate bond is sacred and not to be messed with. He waited till he was twenty-five before he found Mom.

“Yes, Dad I did. With his crimes, he is not fit to sit next to me on the throne.” I stand tall looking my dad straight in the eye.

“ You are going to have to explain that for us sweetie.” Mom is going to be the easier one to talk to here. She challenges Auntie on it all the time.

“Mom when I got here and thank the gods and goddesses I did just in time. I heard him belittle someone and Joy started running I was about 500 yards away. I got to the tree line and pulled on some clothes and came out of the trees. What I saw next horrified me. He had Alicia pinned by her throat against that tree over there.” I pointed. “He had ripped her jeans off her and was going to rape her. The only thing that stopped him was he could smell his mate. Which was funny since the woman in front of him was also his mate. Auntie mated Alicia and I to the same person. I looked like me so he was easily ready to accept me and rejected Alicia in her masked form. Once I rejected him Alicia stood up and actually reverted back to what she really looked like and accepted his rejection. After that Alicia made a portal and got away. The portal closed before I could see where she went.

My mom hugged me and my dad hugged both of us. He kissed my forehead. “You did good kid.

“Dad what will happen she’s out there alone now. Before I could track a scent, but with a portal I can track nothing.” I started to cry.

“Don’t worry Samantha I will cover that.” All of a sudden her eyes go white which only happens when she links the entire kingdom at one time. I have seen her do it a couple of times but her abilities will be weak after.

Dad goes to grab her she shoos him away. “I am fine my king.” Dad knows she’s not but let it go. There is no talking to my mother, she is the most stubborn person I know.

“I need to go find her Mom what if something happens again? I need to protect her Mom.” I was starting to get frantic.

Mom grabbed my hand. “Stop it’s going to be okay I have linked every pack, coven, frolic and thunder if Nova goes there it is on the order of the princess and backed by their king and queen. She is to be treated as you would treat anyone visiting from the kingdom. I will talk to all of the leaders when we get back so they know to notify us as soon as she comes into their territory. We will find her, don’t worry. Although I need to talk with my great grandfather who told me she would have no issues and there was one not but a few hours after she left.” I could see the anger on my mother’s face not at me but I had a feeling a certain god was going to fill her wrath; well when she tells Grandma Lilly he’s going to feel two of them.

“Mom I still have to go find her.” I started to cry.

“Once I know where she is I will send you there. But for now, you can travel around and go to all the places you were supposed to go as part of your punishment. Mira is in the Fae kingdom, Gigi is in the Vampire Kingdom and I will send you into the Magical Kingdom.”

“My witch abilities are almost as good as my fae, wouldn’t I be better off starting at another kingdom?” I was confused.

“Well there is the Shifter Kingdom but Joy is still stronger than most wolves. It’s only your father and I and your brothers that are. So you only need to learn how the packs are treating their people.” Mom answered.

“Please let me do the shifters first I just have a feeling she’s here. I know there are some demons in a certain part that will help me look for Alicia or know more than most.” I plead with Mom.

“I don’t know how I like you dealing with demons on your own.” Dad gave me a look.

“Demons are a part of the Fae kingdom; your kingdom. Dad you know faes are not those fancy little things you see on Disney. You know all faes are extremely loyal to the king and kingdoms. They will not hurt us, I’d trust a demon more than I would trust a gnome.” I say

I hear Dad mumble thinking I couldn’t hear him. “Damn ankle biters.”

“Dad the fae will protect me, even more than you and Mom, in their minds I am their princess, I will be on the throne for them,” I say I’m not giving up on this.

I look at my mom who looks like she’s having an epiphany. “I know now what Helios meant, go to the shifter kingdom. Meet up with your brother first before you explore. I will make you a portal to get you to the shifter castle.”

“Honey.” Dad draws out the word knowing she is still drained from connecting with the entire kingdom.

“Please Samantha don’t go, I can change please.” Todd cried out I almost forgot he was there chained up with Uncle Koa holding him.

A bolt of lightning lands before his feet. “You will never get near any of my daughters you excuse for a wolf an alpha at that. Lightning flashing in his eyes and his eyes changed colours. Daddy Finn wanted a piece of him too. “You will face trial and you better hope the council gets their decision made before I do. Beta get this whatever it is out of my sight.

“Now that that’s over I owe you a portal.” Mom smiles at me.

“Alex,” Dad called Mom by her name this never ends well.

“You listen here Nico Luca Rossi, I know what I can and cannot do. I will make her a portal.” She looks at Auntie Ria who is still there. “I’m sure the Dragon Queen would be more than happy to bring me home.” Mom snapped at Dad. “Now I’m going to open that portal and then take my leave. I will see you at home.”

“Honey.” Dad draws the word out but when he pisses mom off he knows he has to grovel.

“Don’t honey me,” Mom growled at him. I went through the portal not wanting to see the end of that fight. Dad never wins until that night.

With that Mom opened the portal I walked through I could hear Dad calling out to Mom. The portal closed and there I was at the shifter castle.
