I pushed him back and he balanced himself from falling down "I am not that weak Isabel who was tortured by you and who told you I am your wife."

He laughed and moved closer to me again "Let's go inside darling and it is better if you behave because Jessica is still with me and you know what I can do for love."

I had no other choice but to go in with him and my purpose right now was to save Jessica.

As I calmly followed him inside he led me to his bedroom, it had not changed in so many years but I could not see Jessica anywhere and I knew what tricks he was pulling but I could not say anything so I kept moving quietly then he stopped and asked me to sit threatening about Jessica. I sat on the edge of the bed, he leaned in closer and placed both his hands on either side of me on the bed, my heart raced, he moved closer to my neck and took a deep breath "I have missed this beautiful scent of yours." then he looked at my face leaning in closer planting one of his hands on my cheek "You have grown more beautiful with time." and them he planted his lips on mine, it was enough for me to take it so I bit his lips and pushed him to the ground and then bend over him "Where is Jessica?" I said with all my anger but he laughed, he was yet a lot stronger then me and with his one leap I was thrown on the bed and he was on top of me and how hard I tried I could not get out of his grip "I see so you have grown quite fierce too, good for you my woman should have this attitude."

His grip was so tight that it was tearing my wrist apart "I am not your woman, leave me."

He laughed "You wish" and bend down on biting my neck fiercely which made me scream in pain but I had to get out of here and help Jessica. He stopped and looked at my face "You are so naive, earlier you thought I would spare Ethan's life so you married me and now you walked into this den again just to save a friend without thinking of yourself. He forced a kiss again but was I that naive, no I had to do something. I snapped my fingers and he bumped into the walls behind, I hurriedly tried to escape but was pulled back to bed, he snapped and I was tied to it then he laughed "You want it the hard way then let's have it this way."

He was so hard on me that the tears welled up in my eyes along with the my shouting which he seemed to enjoy and then there was a bang at the door which he ignored at first but those bangs grew louder until the door finally came down, it was broken. He looked at the person who entered the room, James, he didn't give him the chance to analyze anything and kicked him in the face making him fall to the ground. James's eyes were red with anger and he didn't give Cameron a single second to respond and kept beating him up along with that he untied one of my hands and said "I will take care of him, hurry up and find Jessica."

I nodded, though I felt really weak but I had to do it so a snap and I was untied because at that moment I didn't have the time to worry about my explanations to James, he did stare at me for a minute or two but continued to what he was doing. It was a huge villa and I could not think where to start so I thought to check the room where Ethan was kept first. I rushed to that room and I was right Jessica was there tied up in a cage over a fire lake and she was being slowly drawn closer to it. She was screaming and seeing me she shouted "Bel, please help me this is killing me, either throw me into it or bring me out because I can't bear it any longer."

I had to save her but I could not let her know my identity so I snapped my fingers to render her unconscious, it is not safe for humans to know our identity, then I jumped up and brought her down on the safe land turning her conscious again. As I turned I saw James standing there frozen and because it had gone this far I had to tell him everything.

"I will explain this later James, first we need to help Jessica and I think she is petrified."

"I don't know what it means but do you have the solution."

"This is poisonous for humans and she can only be alive for 15 minutes that means we have to reach back in 5 minutes because it will take me 5 minutes to prepare the medicine."

"I will take you first, you prepare the medicine and in the meantime I will bring Jessica."

"Great, let's do it then."

I limped towards him because my leg was injured by the flames of the fire while saving Jessica, he was worried and held my leg "You are injured."

"James we don't have time for this take me back or she will die and nothing is gonna happen to me.

He looked at my leg and then at Jessica and then at my worried face. He bent down and asked me to climb on his back "Hold me tight and if you feel dizzy, close your eyes."

"Hmm."

He took me there in 3 minutes, I rushed into my tent and with one snap all the things I required were out. Whiting 5 minutes the medicine was ready and I waited outside for them, anxiously pacing around. Within 2 minutes he was back "I ran the fastest I could."

"Great, we still have time."

I put the bottle of medicine I had prepared on the ground and helped him get Jessica down. I held Jessica from her back and made her sit supporting her with one arm "James help me make her drink the medicine."

She was dizzy but she did not know what was happening around her so I made her open her mouth forceful as James helped to pour the medicine in her mouth, she must have been really thirsty to gulp it down in one go.

James took her from my hand and took her inside the tent, I limped behind him but he was out before I could step inside, he picked me up and took to a rock nearby making me sit on it. I thought he was gonna scold me for going without him and ask me about everything but he didn't say anything and begin cleaning my wound.

The wind blew softly, moving his hair, his moonlit face was flawless and his eyes felt like I was sinking in them, it had been so long since I felt this way. I was so engrossed in staring at him that I didn't realize when he looked up and was smiling and me "Does it hurt."

I came back from the world of my dreams into reality at his sweet voice "Not much."

He smile again "Let's go and sleep."

I was shocked that he did not ask me anything or question me about how I was connected to Cameron. As he turned to leave I called from behind "Are you not going to ask me anything?"

He rushed back in one leap and his face was just a few inches away from me as he placed hands on my side "I have fallen for you and I want to protect you but it is your choice to tell me about yourself or not. You can tell me whenever you feel comfortable but I will tell you who I am and about my past tomorrow because everyone will be leaving and we will be staying here because you are injured."

I nodded and my heart raced because he was standing so close to me. The gentle breeze made the moment even more special as he leaned in and kissed my lips but instead of resisting him a gentle smile spread across my face, he held my waist with one hand while his other hand was on my upper back but I was frozen on the spot with my hands on his chest which went up to push him initially but then I could not bring myself to do it as I was being captured deeply in his embrace. He was not ready to let me go, my eyes were closed, I heard the sound of someone coming towards us so I opened my eyes and saw Mr. Black coming but James was not ready to let me go so I tried to push him. His embrace was too strong that I could not move even by an inch instead he pulled me further towards himself, he was so engrossed that Mr. Black has to call his name to make his presence known "Am James can I talk to you." that was when he finally let me go.

I felt embarrassed and ran inside the tent limping but they were not far away so I could hear what they were talking about.

"James, you can't let that girl find out."

"Dad but she has to know the truth."

"What if she runs away, you will not be able to protect her and you promised just to protect her and not like her."

"I can't help it, you know we are cursed to fall in love with humans and then it is their wish if we live or not."

"She is different and we don't know who she is."

"Dad, you will take everyone with you and I will tell her the truth, I know she is brave enough to accept it."

"Be careful son."

The conversation stopped and I heard the footsteps moving towards me so I hurriedly lay down on the floor. As he entered in, I tucked myself in my sleeping bag and saw him smiling towards me, my cheeks were red hot as I looked away and hid myself. When I looked up again, he was lying next to me, my heart skipped a beat as a moved away and he pulled me closer "Will you stay by my side even if I tell you that I am someone dangerous."

"I trust you so I will be by your side always but if I tell you that I have a really dangerous past and you will be in danger if you say besides me will you abandon me."

"No, I will always stay by your side and protect you."

"Thank you."

He pulled me into a kiss once again hugging me tightly this time, his kiss was gentle than before but it was not very long, he moved his head to my neck and breathed in as is he was smelling something very good, a chill ran down my spine and it was overpowered by his kiss on the neck.
