The White Tiger

Emergency

Azure* 

I could smell her all around the mountain, her scent had been close so may times yet I always seem to lose it.  This time was different I ran towards it after I found her tracks, she needs me, my tiger ran as fast and the snow allowed. Blood. 

Blood was spattered all over the snow, but it smelled of fox not my Kitty. Where are you Kitty. 

I slowed till I stood in front of her naked body laying in the snow, she was beautiful. Her long hair was in her face, but I could still see her straight nose peaking though. She must be so cold. I shifted before putting on the clothes I carried with me, covering her body with my coat. I scooped her into my arms, I could hear her heartbeat thumping calmly in her chest. She rubbed her face on my shirt taking in the scent, unconsciously she relaxed into me. 

My body hummed from sparks that flowed from our contact, I just wanted to take her home and lay with her. 

"I'm here Kitty" I soothed her as I breathed in her scent. 

I have to take her to the hospital she is freezing, I should have been there when this happened. What happened? Did someone try to hurt my Kitty? I will kill them. I could only see red as I approached the hospital, someone will pay if she is not alright. 

I entered the hospital with Kitty's body in my arms trying shielding her from prying eyes, She is mine. People looked at the small body in my arms before they noticed it was me, quickly after the realized who I was they all looked away and moved on. I could hear the whispers behind me, murderer, killer, creep, weirdo. None of this mattered right now, I rushed in to the emergency room and yelled you help. Her breathing was slow and shallow she must have hypothermia. Nurses ran towards us to ask questions so many questions. I have no answers to any of them. I just need them to help her she needs to be ok. My Kitty is the only thing that matters. 

"Sir I need you to let go of her. We have to treat her, you need to go to the waiting area." the old nurse tried to remove the coat from her body while rushing me to lay her down on the bed. Involuntary a growl rumbled in my chest. 

"No, I go where she goes" I growled out. 

Everyone in the room looked at me in fear before I placed her on the bed and stepped back.  I can't leave my Kitty.

I sat and watched her sleep for the next few hours. I watched her chest rise and fall with each breath. I craved being next to her, comforting her, learning all I can about her. Would she accept me or fear me? Her long hair was draped over her shoulders, she was so beautiful and delicate. Almost hard to believe she was a tiger, beneath this beautiful petite woman in the hospital bed was a wild and powerful beast. 

She fell asleep holding my hand after the doctor left, soon morning will come and I can take her home. I didn't even get a chance to ask her name, the doctors quit asking questions when they realized she was with me. The less people around her the better right now. 

Her hand feels around the bed searching for mine, I couldn't control the smile that pulled at my lips, she has no idea how much I wished to hold her. Her long lashes began to part slowly giving way to the most enchanting green eyes, my breathing stopped as my heat pounded in my chest at her beauty. 

"Morning Kitty." Her eyes searched the room till they fell on me. The panic making it's way to her face started to dissipate. 

"Morning, can I leave yet." I could see the muscles in her shoulders tense. She was trying to stop her shift. 

"Kitty please calm down. Take deep breathes." I quickly crossed the room and grabbed her hand as I sat on the edge of her bed. How will I get her out of here safely if she shifts. 

"Why do you call me that?" her tone is agitated, her green eyes are turning black. She has to remain calm. 

"Well you are a Kitty right? Your trying to stop your shift right now."  Her eyes lightened in surprise as she tried to remain calm. 

"How do you know?" she hissed the words like they were venom. 

"Oh my Kitty I am one to." Her hand jerked away at this, as her whole body began to shake uncontrollably. 

"Please Kitty breath, focus on me, listen to my voice." Her shaking slowed down. " I will get you out of here soon, Then we can do whatever you want" 

She bit her lip in deep thought. " I don't have clothes with me" Oh how I wonder what those plump lips would feel like on mine. 

"Its all taken care of." I motioned to the overnight bag in the chair. 

" Can I get dressed? I am ready to leave" she whispered. Her eyes looking down still in deep thought. I would do anything to see her smile at this point. 

After three hours of doctors checking her and signing paperwork she through me out of the room so she could get dressed. 

"ok come in" she called though the door at me, I wished nothing more then to hear her call my name. I opened the door to see her dressed in skinny jeans that showed her small curves and a white top. I could hear her heart thundering and a smile crossed my face while my eyes drank her in. 

" Can we please get out of here?" I would take you anywhere my Queen. 

"Of course Kitty." I followed her out of the room 

When we stepped outside I watched a smile appear on her face, the way she inhaled the fresh air. 

"Eve" She voice sounded lighter as she followed me. I was confused by her random comment. 

"what" I was confused by her choice of words.

"My name is Eve." She beamed. 

" Nice to finally meet you Eve." How ironic the first woman to me would be Eve.
