CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE JUNE 27, 9 AM MARICOPA COUNTY COURT HOUSE, 125 W. WASHINGTON, PHOENIX Bob Davis goes on trial. The date has finally arrived. The courthouse is packed with the local gentry. Almost everyone knew the tailor or knew about him. He had an excellent reputation in Phoenix for creating great-looking summer suits, sports coats, and slacks. The ladies liked his alteration expertise and attention to detail. I think they also liked his foreign flattery and manner.
