The paper is buzzing this morning. There has been another crime committed on the south side of Phoenix. A man and wife have been robbed and beaten and left on the street. Apparently, they were visiting some people. When they left at approximately 10:30 pm and approached their car, three teenagers came at them with a gun, demanding money and jewelry. The man resisted and was beaten to the ground and hit with a gun, a baseball bat, and some kind of club. The wife was screaming at the sight of her husband's blood and would not stop. They beat her into submission and quiet. Removing her jewelry, the man’s wristwatch, and wallet. The kids fled down the street, leaving the couple on the sidewalk bleeding and unconscious.
