Episode 1: THE BEGINNING.
Cuddled up in her room, squeezing the pillow, young Emma heard nothing that night but the screams of her parents. A scene she had gotten used to, adjusted to, looked forward to because it never did stop. Her tears even as a child couldn't stop the tantrum, during one of the nights, the loudness of their voice woke her up, frightened she ran to the dinning room to meet the awful sight of her father physically abusing her mother, to protect her as she thought, she started to pull her father by his clothe, screaming, pleading he stops. Angrily he turned, picked little Emma up and threw her away, she landed with her back hitting the fridge. Emma never walked again from that day. "You crippled her and now you want to leave Gregory, you want to leave cause you can't bear to see the evil you did everyday!" Gina yelled out. "I won't let you or your daughter wreck my life!" "You've wrecked mine already, and we don't care if you leave so get out!, get out!!" She ran to the door and forcefully dragged it open, she watched him pick up his bag and makes his away out of the house. "Unsay every spoken love words you've said to me and I never want to see you again" He said nothing to her and slowly walks away. Inside her room Emma could hear her raging in pain and it broke her heart, it scared her to witness such amount of pain and the thought of him leaving without saying goodbye damaged a greater part of her cause not minding what he does to her mother and what he did to her, she loved him because he is her father. She never did understand what changed, they weren't always like that the much she could remember. Yes, they had arguments and disagreed on things but never was there a physical fight nor overheated arguments. Having the thought of growing up crippled and the absence of her father, she buried her face in the pillow and cried, so rooted is the pain in her heart. It burned.
