CHAPTER 39: The Victims’ Hollow Eyes
“Natalie, get this to the table. Stand against the wall after. Understood?” I kept myself from swallowing and making an expression. Keeping all emotions in, I nodded once, like how the others did.
“Yes, Miss Jones.” I said in a monotone while keeping an eye contact.
The woman mentioned stared at me for a while. Those chocolate brown eyes looking so stern behind those thin rimmed glasses that looked like it could be a weapon of some sort. I kept myself from exhaling out a huge breath when she finally left my gaze.
I just finished eating the dinner Rina gave me when I saw her. Rina already warned me that the Head Maid of the castle was about to come and give her instructions to the maids of the palace.
