I was left to do the dishes right after that moment. But I so wanted to run when Calum and Linus started getting out of the hall after the four of them looked at each other, speaking through their eyes.
“Stay here. This is nothing urgent,” Calum said before glancing at me and then going out with his brother and with the guard. I noticed then how Lady Vanessa also glanced at me and back towards Calum. I just kept my face straight.
