CHAPTER 41: Canvas
“What are you doing?”
I asked as Linus continuously pulled on me along the long hallway. I looked around the area when I noticed how the entire place looked darker than the one where we came from. The draperies were also down in this place.
“Where are you taking me?”
“Away. Away from that deceitfully wicked and possessive woman,” Linus answered which kind of shocked me. I knew he must have felt the same feelings I had for that lady, but I didn’t realize he’d react so strongly about it, like this.
“If there’s one thing I pity my brother for, it’s having to deal with that witch. Gorgeous—yet a witch still.” I raised a brow when he added that. He just smirked at me and continued pulling me towards somewhere I have no idea about.
We both walked silently in the hallway
