Unbelievable

"I. I thought you knew already." She knew the word she had spoken sounded so stupid, but before she could finish she didn't even see it coming, it happened so fast, all she knew was that his hand flew in the air and landed on her cheeks sending her flying to the other side of the room.

She fell with a thud bruising her elbow but that wasn't all, her eyes were now swollen and half-covered and her lips were broken, she could taste the salty blood on her lips again and again.

"I thought I had seen it all, I thought you were now repentant but I guess you keep on giving me different shades of shock waves, how funny.?"He said, approaching her menacingly.

"I have also found out a lot of things about you, you think you are wise huh?

She kept on crawling backwards until she hit the walls behind her and she knew there was no way to run out of his sight.

"Do you know the most embarrassing thing?it is that you are barren, you haven't given me an heir. The part that hurts me is that you are not only an Omega, you don't even have any powers yet and still, you are a rogue wolf?”

Does he have to go that far, to remind her of her inability to conceive an heir and about the fact she hadn't shifted?

She felt like the most hated person right now and tears kept pouring out of her eyes.

"I'm not a rogue wolf ."She began to say trying to explain to him, hoping that he had understood after her explanation

"My aunt and I left our Pack when I was just five and we came here in Blue Waters Pack to seek refuge, I know that I am an Omega but not a rogue wolf."

She stated as fresh tears began to pour out of her eyes she just wished he would listen to her but he kept approaching her his steps slow and wicked.

"There must be a mistake somewhere, I am not a rogue wolf."

"Oh, yeah, is that the stupid childish tale your hopeless dead aunt told you? Do you think you can pass that on to me, Wilhelmina? Your stupidity amazes me."

"I'm not lying please, Dennis you have to listen to me, I am not a rogue wolf there must be a mistake somewhere, a case of mistaken identity. "

But before she could finish she earned another hard laugh from him which sent her hair covering her face.

"A case of mistaken identity indeed, are you a twin? I don't know why you keep on lying to me ?"

"I promise I'm telling the truth ." She said and knelt before him

"Well I don't care about whatever you are saying, we are going downstairs now and you will tell everyone why you have decided to fool us all."

Before she could speak another word he grabbed her by her hair and made for the door when a loud knock came in.

He gave her a spiteful look, she wriggled in his grip in pain and said nothing as the knock persisted.

"Who the bloody hell is that, do you want to break down the door.?"

Silence followed before the person at the other end cleared his throat.

"Alpha Dennise, there is an urgent situation that needs your presence. Queen Luna everyone is waiting downstairs. "

Both Wehelmina and Denise exchanged puzzled glances, his grip seem to loosen on her hair as he stared at the door as if it could give him an answer.

"Get out I'll be downstairs in the jiffy."

He stared hard at Wilhelmina and the grip increased, his hands tightened around her hair.

"What have you done this time around? I hope you have not disgraced me further than this because you know what? I will rip you apart and feed you to the dogs."

At that moment she wished she had the power to stop him from gripping her hair so tight, the pain that shot through her was unbearable.

He kicked the door open and dragged her downstairs with him, each step filled with so much pain as tears upon tears rolled down her eyes.

Just the three last steps she could see everyone gathered in the large living room, the chandelier dancing overheard casting their golden lights blinded her, but it didn't blind the hate I saw in Queen Luna Amanda's eyes.

She stood there with the head maid whose head was bowed. She looked up and Wilhelmina could see that her eyes were very red and her cheeks were flushed red and dried with tears.

She bowed her head and was weeping silently.

Confusion danced in her eyes as she wondered what was going on, this was harder than she could comprehend.

What was going on?

Just as they descended her eyes opened wildly as she saw Adriana.

Wilhelmina wondered what Adriana was doing in the Packhouse, Adriana turned and gave her a hard look, she sitting on the couch and had a tired look on her face.

She smiled at Wilhelmina as she saw how battered her face was.

"I'm quite sure you could have heard of what happened.''Luna Amanda said, not even sparing Wilhelmina a look as she waved her hands at her battered face, "Guess that's the reason why her face is this way?

Dennis's grip loosened on her hair and he dropped his hands, he glanced at her and then at his mother.

"I don't understand, what's going on? Heard about what ?"

"I thought she was done deceiving us but I never knew she had tricks more up her sleeves."Luna Amanda said.

Before both of them could say anything Luna Amanda spoke up again

"The head maid here has something to tell you, words can't describe what I had to say."

"Speak up, "Dennis growled," Don't keep me waiting."

The head maid said nothing at first, her lips quivered as she tried to speak up.

"It's one of the maids....she...she was found half dead in her room..today."

The shock plastered on both her face and that of Dennis would win an award.

"But..but .. there's good news, she's awake now....she is recuperating."

"How is that my business?" He said and folded his hands casually, "Is that why I was distracted from dealing with this idiot." He said and pointed at me, the head maid and Luna Amanda exchanged glances.

"Anyways, what food did that ? "

The maid said nothing at first, fresh tears poured out of her eyes.

And as Wihelmina stood there shocked at what she just heard the head maid did something which she never expected.

"She did." The head maid said as she shakily raised her finger everyone pointed and everyone turned slowly towards the direction of her finger, panic dancing in their eyes.
